Saanvi woke up to the sounds of gunshots firing. Even before she could comprehend what was happening, she felt a sharp pain in her arms. She couldn't scream, only a low hiss escaped her lips. She couldn't even stand properly, her legs became wobbly. She thought she'll land on the floor with a loud thud, she worried her womb will be hurt in the process. But a pair of arms grabbed her. She saw a pair of dark black eyes looking at her. She wanted those pair of blue eyes infront of her not these unfamiliar eyes. But she had no strength to fight. She gave in to darkness.

Saanvi opened her eyes, she felt huge pain in her legs and hands. She wanted to move her legs and hands but they felt restricted. She closed her eyes and opened them again. She realised that she was tied to the chair. But she heaved a sigh of relief seeing no bounds on her belly. She can take all the pain but she will never let anything bad happen to her kids.
