Chapter 4: Grumpy beginnings

Janis's POV

I'm packing my stuff, my best friend Kate is here to help me.

More like to annoy me.

"Shut up!" I yelled and she laughed.

We stood up and helped me to pack.

"Undergarments"

"Check"

"Hoodies, pants, coats,leggings sweatshirts" she said

"Check" I said.

"Party outfits, club outfits,heels boots" she said

"Check! Wait! What"I said and she cackled.

"Don't you dare to remove them from your bag" she warned me and I gulped.

"Okay" I said.

"Make up, toiletries,novels and reading glasses" she said

"Check" I said and all the things are pack.

"Bitch! Why novels! And why not lingerie! Maybe some handsome hunk you find there" she exclaimed and dramatically fell on my bed.

"I'm going to treat somebody, not to seduce" I scoffed.

"But our club nights and part nights are still on right?" She asked hopefully.

"Yes" I said and she shriek and jumped on me.

We both went tumbling down.

"Get off me heavy cow!" i said

"Bitch" she said rolled off me.

"I have to get ready" I said standing up and ran to bathroom.

"I'm going to eat something!!" She screamed.

I took a shower and washed my hair,washed my body and shaved my legs.

I went to my closet I wore black shirt with black skirt with knee length boots.



I wore a pendant, which my dad gave me.

I let my hair in loose natural curls. I applied wing eyeliner after 347856 tries.

I applied a little blush and lip balm. I was satisfied with look.

I grabbed my bag sling over my shoulder, grabbed phone, earphone, charger and everything essential and put it in my bag. I grabbed my luggage.

My phone buzzed.

Benette: Go to road from where the forest start. You will see a black car and follow it.

me: okay

I locked my phone. I went down to see fifty shades of Grey playing.

"Katherine Fairchild!" I yelled.

"MOM! IM SORRY!" she yelled scared.

"Suit you good" I said laughing.

"You cunt! I was scared you sounded just like my mum" she said trying to calm down her racing heart.

"Okay I'm going" I said and hugged her.

"I will miss you" she said still hugging me.

"I will find you a handsome hunk" I whispered.

"Sure!" she said and I chuckled.

We both went out and I locked the front door.

I sat in my car.I wore my sunglasses.

We bid goodbye and went on different roads.

I was driving till I reached the forest road. I saw a black jeep.

A man came toward my car and I rolled down my window.

"Dr Janis Ian" I said and his eyes widen.

"Miss please follow our car" he said and I nodded.

I followed them. I saw trees and trees.

Do they live in a cave or something!

I laughed at my own statement.

Soon I saw a Huge mansion or I say Massive mansion.

It was beautiful.

The gates opened and I drove in.

All people standing there watching curiously.

I don't like unwanted attention.

I parked my car in one of thier garage.

I hopped out of my car. I heard people whispering.

"Is she another slut of Ronan?" They whispered.

"I don't think so" A girl whispered.

"If he doesn't took her I will" a boy said smirking.

"Please keep your wild imagination to your self. I'm a doctor not a seducer so kindly shut your mouth before I will" I said

"Sorry" they whispered and some people shocked.

"Janis!!" I saw Olivia running with benette behind her telling her to stop she will get hurt.

"Olivia stop running" he said

They are such a beautiful couple. She soon engulfed me in a hug.

"Can't breath" I choked out.

"Oh I'm sorry! Come in" she said dragging me.

"James take her things to her room" He ordered.

The guys name James took luggage to my room I think.

"Oh my! You look beautiful" Olivia said smiling.

"Thanks you look beautiful too" I said smiling.

"Let me give you a tour of our mansion" she said and I nodded.

"So this our kitchen" I gasped.

Holy shit! There kitchen is bigger than my room.

"Its a beautiful kitchen!" I exclaimed and she smiled.

"You are always welcome to use it" she said and I nodded.

I noticed that Benette dissappered.

"This our laundry" She showed me laundry room.

She showed me thier room, it was beautiful.

"Atlast this is your room" she said.

I opened and my jaw drop.

A queen size bed sit in the middle, walk in closet.

It has dark chocolate walk with a little contrast of wooden furniture it look so Beautiful.

"Thank you so much it so beautiful" I said and she squeezed my hand.

"Please come with me" she said her voice softer than before.

The room next to me give me different vibes. There was no sound from inside it was oddly quite.

"It is my brothers room" she said and I nodded.

"You have to treat him and take care of him. I hope you will that why I gave you the room next to him" she said tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry I will do my best, trust me" I said and she knocked on door.

"Who?" A deep voice said.

The deep voice gave me goosebumps.

"Sebastian its Olivia" she said her voice soft.

"Come in sis" he said.

She opened the door and walked in gesturing me to come in.

I entered room and saw a man in his late 20.

He was painfully handsome. He had jet black hair like night.

"Who is she?" He said his voice cold and blue eyes glaring at me.

"Hello I'm sorry I didnt introduce myself. I'm your doctor Janis Ian" I said smiling a little.

"Janis Ian?" He said looking a little taken aback.

"Yes is there any problem?" I questioned.

"No" he said with his sharp cold voice.

"I told you Olivia I don't need doctors to treat me I'm good as the way I'm" he said his voice colder than before like remembering something.

"But Sebastian you have to get treated! You are badly injured and she is trustworthy and not Ria" She said and he glared at her.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but Mister" I stopped.

"Knight" Olivia said.

"Mr knight I appreciate that if you get the treatment I'm here to treat you and that my job. I don't want you to get sick more due to your foolish reason" I said with raised eyebrow.

Olivia looked like she is about to scream. He looked shocked soon he face turn in to cold and anger.

"Don't tell me what to do" He said through gritted teeth.

"Olivia please give me his reports and everything today" I said smiling at her.

He looked so shocked. His eyes widen slightly.

I gave him a smile and walked away with Olivia closing his door.

"Listen I'm sorry about his behavior" She said apologizing.

"Sheesh nothing to sorry about its just Grumpy begining" I said.

"Please give me reports so I can study them and I will like to rest" I told her and she nodded.

"Okay if you need anything you can always call me or James" she said and I nodded.

"Okay bye see you later" I said and went to my room.

"I hope these are just grumpy beginning to start with" I mumbled and jumped on bed.

"Let's take a nap" I said and layed down.

I fell asleep after that.
