Jaselle's P.O.V

I've been here for hours and right now, I wasn't bound to a chair anymore but allowed to roam freely in a castle with utmost respect from the house staffs was enough reason to make me feel like a Queen Bee living her best fairy tale life but no.

For obvious reasons, I didn't want to remain in this house longer than I've been already.

Although I still couldn't bring myself to any meaningful reason as to why there was a portrait of me hanging in here.

And just then, a thought crossed my mind and since Alessia was still present in the room with me busy wiping the bedside stool, I gripped her hand gently and caused her to face me.

“Who is Sofia?” I demanded and I could tell how uneasy she got by that simple question with how she swallowed hard and tried to avoid my gaze.

“Please. I know we aren't exactly friends but it'll mean so much to me if you explain to me what the hell I've gotten myself into.” I pleaded and she still held her back to me but I wasn't willing to give
