"Is there anyone here who thinks these two shouldn't be joined together in Holy matrimony? speak now, or forever hold your peace." Are those words really necessary? I mean, it was my wedding and everyone seated smiling at me were my friends and members of the family. They all knew how really important the day was to me. I mean, I've dreamt of that very day my entire life! and I knew I was being hasty with the whole Normal wedding procedures and stuff, but the suspense was making me really nervous. Those words left the priest's mouth barely two seconds ago and I must say, the silence that followed was really satisfying and at the same time suffocating if you know what I mean. The sudden unified gasps from the crowd gathered at my wedding told me I didn't make up the sharp pitched Feminine voice that just sounded in my head."I object!" Her voice repeated the very same words I thought I heard the first time. Joining forces with the sounds from the crowd to confirm to me that I actually

Adriano's P . O . VWaking up from sleep has never been an issue for me because I hardly ever slept and it was the same with last night.Even after my hours long exhausting flight to open my Second club in Everald, Sleep has always been off the plate for me.Although anyone might think it's all due to the tedious business of having to run the Mafia, I alone truly knows the reason behind my sleepless nights. It was very late into the evening and the perfect time to open up my club and so, I got into my car with two of my most trusted men, Carlo and Gustavo.I had officially thrown open the club and had a number of party freaks present already while I remained at the VIP section with both my men and the contractors in charge of my projects and the newly assigned manager, giving orders on how exactly I want my business and uncompleted projects handled.I wasn't in any way in the mood for clubbing or anything of that sort and besides, I needed to return back home by dawn the next day as m

“What do you want with me?” I asked for the seventeenth time in the space of five minutes but each and Everytime, I was met with his annoying silence.I could scream out for help but I doubt anyone would even hear me. For just a room to be this big, I bet I'm in some kind of mansion.“You should eat. You had a rough night” he finally responded after silently watching me and then with actually a snap of his fingers, two young girls who seemed to be about my age rushed it.From their light green matching uniforms and aprons up front, I could tell they were maids. It felt like I was In a movie and I wasn't given a script because I still don't know what the hell is going on!One of the girls rushed past me into the room and I followed her with my eyes till she stopped by my bed and picked up a tray of covered food I totally didn't notice was there before.Oh. So that's where the fish is? It was really that close to me but I had bigger problems like the hot god man keeping me from leaving

Adriano's P . O . VSecond chances are usually always hard to come by and only a fool would find one right in front of him and let it go and I, Adriano Moretti am no fool at all that was why I grabbed my second chance right when it came to me.I find it unbelievably funny how kids from all over wish to be part of a Mafia group because all they perceive it to be is a gang of well dressed men who get whatever they want whenever they want and in actuality, it's not always like that. For someone who doesn't know how to exert dominance, you'll be sure to crumble alongside the empire you've struggled so hard to build and seeing that as something I can never let happen, I was always on my toes and ever ready for anything at all but it appears in all my years of experience, One single woman was about to stress me out so much.I wasn't expecting her to be totally cool with bringing her home with me against her wish but I also didn't expect her to put up a fight such as this. She and Sofia are

My legs finally felt functional again as I was now able to walk myself down the stairs. As I walked, my legs ached. It was then I realized how long the stairs were and that it wasn't a straight ahead stairs but a spiral one.I held onto the railings to support my movement and one look at Alessia, I felt like the uncivilised one. Why? She didn't seem to be affected by how long it was taking to get to the base level of the stairs. Her face held a timid look as usual, followed by a dim smile as she walked.Soon enough we were at the base of the stairs and like a puppy tailing its master, I followed behind her to the kitchen and dear me was I stunned. The kitchen was literally the size of the bedroom I had just been in, if not even bigger. It could contain dozens of people at the same time and none would bump into the other.I envied the interior decor as it seemed every single design was carefully thought of. It was nothing like I've seen before except only in movies. The clattering of
