I think I pissed off Georgia because she had started acting distant and detached. It was probably due to what I suggested earlier.

I realized that I may have put her in an uncomfortable position. She was right. Helping me escape would mean she was permanently out of a job.

Besides, after Stephan told me about the whole background check thing, it killed my appetite. I couldn't believe they were digging into my personal life.

Not only had Stephan kidnapped me, but he also stalked me. I felt a chill run down my spine as I thought about it. I doubted if his feelings for me were even genuine.

I spent my time strolling through the large Mansion esque villa that belonged to my captor. I did not think Georgia was interested in showing me around after our last meeting.
