Aurora’s POV

"Oh my goddess, Samantha! You're alive!" I jumped on her, holding her in a tight hug.

"I am here, thanks to you. Your third spirit set me free," she smiled, hugging me back.

"Third spirit?"

"Yes. You're the moon goddess herself!" she said, bowing her head.

A cold laugh cut through the trees. Caleb stepped forward, claws catching the moonlight between the branches.

"Well, well… little Sammy escaped. How cute," he sneered, pacing slowly.

Samantha growled, stepping forward, claws glinting. "Stop this, Caleb! You don’t have to fight!"

"Oh, but I do," he said, eyes gleaming. "You think escaping changes anything? You think you can defy me?"

Before we could react, he lunged. I ducked as a spike of dark energy shot past us, slicing through a nearby tree with a sharp crack. Samantha leapt beside me, claws flashing, striking him across the shoulder. He staggered, smirking, and wiped blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Bold," he said, circling us. "Did it hurt, being trapped? Think

Aurora’s POVThe battlefield was pure chaos — a blur of claws, teeth, and blood-soaked earth. Wolves clashed with rogues beneath the pale moonlight, their growls and screams mixing with the metallic scent of death. My breath came in sharp gasps as I fought, my body aching, my spirit refusing to break. We were holding our ground — barely — until I saw him.Through the haze of battle, a familiar figure emerged, cutting through the chaos with terrifying precision. My heart froze, and for one foolish moment, I wished I’d been wrong. But there was no mistaking that broad frame or those cold, calculating eyes.Uncle Dexter. The man who had betrayed me long ago, who had sold me like I was nothing more than a pawn in his twisted games, now stood boldly beside Caleb.“Dexter…” The name tore from my throat, broken and furious. He met my gaze, his expression devoid of remorse, and then — like a nightmare coming to life — he turned away from me and joined Caleb’s charge. Side by side, they cut th

Caleb’s POVI stood in the middle of the ruined kingdom, the stench of smoke and blood thick in the air. Buildings lay in rubble. Fires flickered among shattered walls, casting long, chaotic shadows. My dark energy lingered like a haze around me. The battlefield was mine—or it should have been.I raised my head and looked at the moon. Pale, cold, and distant. I sneered. “So this is the Moon Goddess,” I said aloud, loud enough to echo over the broken streets. “All this power, and this is the army she sends? Weak, pathetic wolves. Pathetic.”The wind carried my words across the battlefield. “I expected more. A real challenge. Not this handful of scrappy, useless fighters.” My claws clenched. “Where is your power? Where is your force? You call yourself a goddess? Ha!”From the corner of my eye, I saw her—Aurora. She was standing a little apart from the others, her body tense, her eyes fixed on me. Her aura was strong, yes, but I’d faced strong opponents before. None of them had ever been

Samantha’s POVPain throbbed through my body. Every breath felt heavier than the last, and the iron chains dug into my wrists and ankles. I sank to my knees, head bowed, tears streaking my face. My strength was fading, my magic stolen by Caleb, leaving me hollow and powerless.I had made a mistake. A fatal one. I had told Caleb about Aurora’s powers, thinking I could manipulate the situation, thinking I could protect myself. Now, everything I had built, everything I had fought for, seemed lost.I raised my face to the night sky, the cold wind brushing my cheeks, and whispered a desperate plea.“Moon Goddess… hear me. I have failed. I have lost my way, but I still have a purpose. Please… restore me. Restore my powers. Grant me the strength to protect what remains… to protect Aurora.”Silence answered. My tears fell freely, and my heart sank. Maybe this was the end. Maybe I was meant to fade into nothing. Then—a flicker of warmth. A spark of energy that hummed in my veins, weak at first

Aurora’s POVThe throne room shook with every strike. Damion and Caleb crashed together, claws slashing, teeth snapping. Dust and debris flew with each hit.“Aurora,” Lola hissed, “The ring—grab it. That’s where his power is.”I moved forward, circling Caleb. “Over here!” I shouted. He turned, eyes blazing.Damion lunged, claws aimed, but Caleb was faster. I ducked under a strike, rolled to the side, and kicked a pillar to keep him off balance.Caleb’s swing caught my shoulder. Pain shot through me, but I kept moving, aiming for the ring. Lola hit his arm, forcing him to flinch. I lunged, claws scraping against metal. He countered, knocking me back. I rolled, kicked debris into his face, and kept circling. Each blow from him was brutal, precise, and fast. I blocked, parried, and dodged, refusing to stop.Caleb lunged again, aiming for my chest. I twisted, striking his wrist. Sparks flew as our powers collided. He growled, swinging hard, and I ducked, feeling the air slice past my head

Aurora’s POV I sprinted down the corridor, Lola at my side. “Faster! We need to get to the throne room!” “I’m trying!” Lola snapped, claws scraping the floor. The massive doors of the throne room loomed ahead. I threw them open—and froze for a heartbeat. Damion stood in front of Caleb’s throne, chest heaving, eyes like fire. “Step down and face me, Caleb!” Caleb leaned back, arms crossed, smirking. “You think you can take her? She’s mine.” I stepped forward, voice sharp. “I am not an object! I will not be taken!” Damion’s growl rumbled low. “Aurora, get back!” I ignored him, keeping my gaze on Caleb. “You think you can decide my fate? I fight for my freedom and my people! I will not be treated like a prize!” Caleb’s eyes narrowed, but he said nothing. Instead, he gestured with a tilt of his head. “So be it. A duel. Winner takes her.” I clenched my fists, refusing to step back. “I don’t care about your duel! I will not be claimed! Not by you, not by him!” Damion’s eyes softe
