“I think my uncle is too quiet,” Alan said worriedly, He had just left Sophia sleeping in his bedroom. He walked over to where Eddie and Julian lay side by side on the sofas. Their body were all healed up, one would not even know they were ever battered.

“And why do you think that is?” Eddie replied, his voice bored, he kept on flipping the television channels, annoyed at nothing in particular.

”Eddie, don’t make me guess. My head is full right now. I need to go to the office later today and I am still not prepared for the amount of hostility that I am going to face” He sat down on a chair opposite them. He was neatly dressed in work clothes and was looking immaculate. One could detect his reluctance to leave his house. His eyes drifted in the direction of the bedroom.

“You haven’t stepped out of this house in a week. I get that you are in a honeymoon phase with Sophia but you need to think of reality” Eddie warned pointing the remote at him.
