Chapter 58

Cody

"I told you I could handle it." Snow says in a weak voice, smiling at me.

"You passed out. How was that handled?" I ask her.

"I was feeling nauseous and dizzy while I was in there. I guess I'm claustrophobic." She chuckles.

"It's alright. You're tired right now. Get some rest. I have to get back to work."

"You're leaving me here?"

"No. I'm not. This is my personal work space. No one will come here, except Lee, Sam and I."

"But you're still leaving me here." She whines.

"I have to so that you can rest. The drugs you took earlier will let you sleep like a baby so i have to leave you."

"Fine." She pouts. "I'll see you when I wake up."

"Sure." I wave at her leave my personal space, making sure to lock the room. It's a room I designed inside my office to look like a mini apartment just with a bedroom, bathroom and living room. I usually stay over when I have a lot of work to complete before the next day. So when I sleep in the office, I actually sleep in a comfortable space.
