LOGINMaria POV
Am I dreaming right now?!
Did he say the Lycan King?!
The Lycan King is my mate?!
Is this a dream? And if it is, I never want to wake up or even think.
His dark black hair looked like the night itself, and his sharp eyes carried a terrifying power that could make anyone tremble with a single glance. His features were harsh, carved with frightening perfection. As for the aura surrounding him… it was overwhelming. Terrifying enough to make my body shake against my will.
He killed that damned guard for me.
No one had ever done anything for me before.
This feeling was truly beautiful.
I swallowed hard, my eyes never leaving his for even a second.
“You… are really my mate.”
His arms tightened around me, and in the next moment, his expression turned into something terrifying. His jaw muscles clenched hard.
“I will not forgive anyone in this kingdom.” His voice came out dark and full of rage. “I will kill them all… for you.”
A strange warmth spread through my chest, as if all the pain I had lived through over the years was slowly beginning to disappear.
Finally…
Finally, someone came for me.
He carried me effortlessly in his arms. I felt the heat of his body surrounding me as he started walking upstairs with me.
“Your Majesty, she is—”
That was Lucian’s voice, but he couldn’t even finish his sentence.
“Black Moon Pack will be burned to the ground.”
His voice was sharp… furious.
He pulled me closer against his chest while his black eyes filled with dark rage.
“That woman…” he said slowly, as if he was struggling to control himself. “Is my mate.”
Everyone’s breathing stopped, and their faces turned pale.
As for me…
My heart pounded violently inside my chest.
“Alexander’s mate… the Lycan King’s mate. And what did you do to her?”
His voice was lower this time… but even more terrifying.
I saw Lucian step back, sweat gathering on his forehead despite his attempt to remain composed.
“H-How did this happen?!”
All eyes turned toward Emilia.
She was staring at me with shock and disgust, as if she couldn’t comprehend what she was hearing.
“How can this trash be the Lycan King’s mate?!”
He gently set me down on the ground.
Everything happened terrifyingly fast after that.
I didn’t see when he moved.
I didn’t see how he reached her.
All I saw was Emilia’s head rolling across the ground in front of everyone.
The others froze in place, unable to even breathe.
As for Alexander…
He stood there, blood dripping from his hand, his expression terrifyingly cold.
“Your Majesty…” Lucian’s voice came out shakily. “She is… one of the rogues.”
“She killed my brother… and she’s a girl without origin or family. She’s descended from the rebels who once rose against the kingdom. We merely… captured and imprisoned her.”
Liar.
That bastard was lying shamelessly.
Rage ignited inside me the moment I heard his words, and for a second, I wished I could rip his heart out with my bare hands.
But before I could speak…
I felt Alexander’s gaze on me.
Slowly, I raised my eyes toward him.
And he was looking at me strangely.
A look that confused me.
I didn’t understand it.
He remained silent for a few seconds, as if thinking about something, then suddenly turned toward Lucian and said coldly,
“No one moves from here.”
Every body stiffened immediately.
“Gather the rest of the pack… until I return.”
Then he suddenly grabbed my arm firmly.
I gasped softly when he pulled me behind him without another word. I stumbled after him, trying to keep up with his steps.
He violently opened the door to one of the rooms until it slammed against the wall.
Then he threw me onto the bed harshly.
Alexander’s eyes turned pitch black.
Rage radiated from his features in a terrifying way. His jaw muscles were tightly clenched, and his breathing was heavy, while the aura surrounding him became suffocating enough to make my chest tighten.
He locked his eyes directly onto mine and spoke in a low voice… but one filled with restrained violence.
“Are you one of the rogues?”
My brows furrowed in shock, unable to hide my confusion.
“What?”
He stepped only one step closer, but his presence alone was enough to make the room feel smaller.
“Do not answer me with another question.” His voice came out sharp as a blade. “Answer me immediately.”
My breathing quickened unconsciously as I stared at him, unable to understand the reason behind his sudden anger.
“Are you one of the rogues?!”
This time he shouted it, and my entire body trembled.
My tongue froze.
What was I supposed to say?
I myself didn’t know the truth.
I didn’t know who I was, where I came from, or why I had lived my entire life as an outcast.
“Do not stay silent.” His voice became harsher, his black eyes shining with dangerous rage. “Answer me now.”
Then he moved quickly and grabbed my arm so hard that I gasped in pain.
“I want an answer.” His fingers tightened more, as if he had lost control of himself. “You are one of those bastards who call themselves rogues, aren’t you?”
“Get away from me!” I screamed as I tried to pull away from him, but his grip was too strong to break. “You’re hurting me… let me go!”
But his anger didn’t calm.
On the contrary, it grew stronger with every second of my silence.
I felt the heat of tears burning my eyes from the pain and confusion, and finally I screamed—
“Yes!”
The word came out mixed with rage and misery.
“I don’t belong to this pack… and I don’t know any other pack!”
Silence suddenly filled the room.
Even his breathing stopped for a moment.
As for me…
I stared at him while trembling, my heart hurting far more than the arm he still gripped tightly.
Maria POV"Nokthar Valen... Sitra Domin... Aether Kal..." Ezelina chanted the spell for what had become an uncountable number of times by now.I closed my eyes in frustration before exhaling heavily."I’m really tired of this… I can’t do it. I won’t succeed."Every attempt ended in the exact same failure… nothing happened.Ezelina approached me and spoke seriously."You will succeed. Just try with greater focus, please. Spells do not require the curse to be broken or your magic to be fully released in order for you to use them. They are the easiest thing a witch can do."I whispered the spell once more."Nokthar Valen... Sitra Domin... Aether Kal..."And I failed again…"I can’t focus because of what you said earlier… about that bastard wanting my offspring." I sighed tiredly while rubbing my hand over my face nervously. "He’s not thinking about marrying me… is he?"Ezelina quickly lifted her gaze toward me before trying to reassure me."Don’t worry. The Devil of Black Magic is infert
Alexander POVWe returned to my kingdom after I made sure she had disappeared from the Black Moon Pack. All that occupied my mind now were the redhead’s words when she said that the Devil had returned once again. After that, she did not say another word, and the look in her eyes had been strange… as if she had seen something beyond her ability to endure.Could that be the reason for her disappearance?I will find her no matter what happens.I can still feel the bond between us, and that means she is still alive. She is mine… and she will remain mine forever, even if I reject her.Knocks on the door pulled me out of my thoughts.Ivan entered first and bowed respectfully before speaking seriously."King Alexander, we found no trace of her… it is as if she vanished completely from the lands of Malifrik."Rage ignited inside me, and I slammed my fist against the desk violently."Bring me the redhead immediately."Ivan disappeared from in front of me at once, and only moments later he retur
Maria POVAlright… didn’t I say I would never be surprised by anything ever again?"Excuse me… I am what?" I whispered in disbelief. "You must be mistaken. I’m just an Omega who spent her entire life as a servant inside a pack that hated her.""That was exactly what was supposed to happen," Ezelina said seriously while slowly flying in front of me. "No one could be allowed to suspect your true identity. I know this is difficult for you… but this is the truth.""How am I even a hybrid?!" My voice rose uncontrollably. "I spent my entire life wondering who I was… who my family was… why nobody knew anything about me… but this?!" I ran my hand violently through my hair. "How the hell do you expect me to believe all of this?!""And why now exactly? Why is everything appearing now?" I continued questioning, trying to understand the curse that had fallen upon me.The door suddenly burst open, and that Devil walked in with a huge smile on his face."Because your hidden magic has been weakening
Maria POV"Wake up, woman. We need to talk before one of the Devil’s followers comes." The voice reached my ears as if it were coming from somewhere very far away.I raised my hand to my head tiredly, but suddenly I remembered. My mate, the Lycan King, the old man, the Black Magic Devil and his beast, and his followers…I gasped sharply and sat up quickly, only to feel dizziness strike me violently. My breathing began to quicken as my eyes moved around the place in confusion."Calm down, Maria. Don’t panic. Let’s think about how to get out of here first, then we can think about everything else." I tried to calm myself despite the unease and fear inside me."If I were you… I would never calm down." The voice suddenly rang out, making me jump from my place in terror.I turned around quickly, my eyes moving frantically around the room. But no one was there."Here… beside your right shoulder." The voice echoed again in a slightly annoyed tone, as if its owner was irritated that it took me
Alexander POVI descended downstairs once again after all the pack members had been gathered as I ordered. She was a rogue… but she was mine. And they had touched something that belonged to me.For that, they would all be punished. My wolf took control, and his aura spread everywhere. He had not felt such rage since Kara’s death. My nails extended into sharp claws.Long fangs protruded from my clenched mouth while my back arched forward.A thick layer of black fur covered my skin.My vision sharpened.I heard frantic heartbeats around me.At this moment, they were facing the most terrifying creature in this world.I do not say that because Valkyr is my Lycan… but because he is the fiercest and strongest Lycan of all.If he were my enemy, I would undoubtedly be dead.My Lycan howled while his opponents began their shifts.I waited, enjoying the fear radiating from them.Seconds passed as the monster unleashed its fury. Everyone around it fell, blood splattered on the walls, and headless
Maria POVThe moment that was supposed to be the most beautiful in my life… turned into something painful and confusing.I shut my eyes tightly, trying to stop my tears from falling. My entire body hurt. And all the emotions that crashed into me at once barely allowed me to stand. But I couldn’t stay here.I stood up with difficulty, forcing my mind to stop thinking completely, and began searching the room for anything to wear. My eyes landed on some men’s clothes thrown near the wardrobe.I hesitated for only a moment before quickly grabbing them. They were far too large for my small body, but I managed to put them on with difficulty.A few minutes later, I slowly opened the door.I took a deep breath, then started moving carefully through the corridors. I avoided every sound, every movement, while my heart pounded wildly in fear that someone might see me.But the palace was almost empty.Everyone was gathered now… exactly as Alexander had ordered. And that meant…This was my only cha
