Alpha Vos was driving, while Luca sat in the passenger seat and stared out the window, half expecting to see Dani out there, somewhere, staring back at him from the thick cover of the forest. Dani emerged from the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her body and another hiding her hair, releasing a cloud of steam as the door opened. She'd' been in there for a while and the pizza had arrived. Dani felt teeth sinking in just above her right shoulder and snarled in pain. She kicked out with her back legs and slammed her weight backwards towards her attacker, attempting to throw him off balance.
