Sabrina was pushed behind bars as soon as they arrived at the station.

The push was so hard and cruel that Sabrina couldn’t help but fell hard and hurt herself.

 She stood up immediately and began screaming while banging on the iron cell.

“Let me out of here,I have to save my don! I need to see him!”

 “I can’t survive if anything happens to my child,please let me out of here!”

 Bang! Bang! Bang!

Her fists continuously hits on the iron barricade of the prison cell,even though her hands hurts,she wouldn’t give up trying.

Her screams were so loud that the rest of the prisoners as well as the wardens were getting irritated by it.

 “Caution yourself and stop causing trouble for others.Otherwise,you’ll get beaten if you continue like this! I won’t repeat myself any more” The warden gave Sabrina a stern warning.

However,all of it fell on deaf ears as Sabrina was consumed by the fears of losing her son.

She didn’t care what happens to her but nothing must have happened to Sage—He is her whole world,she meant everything to her.

How could she live harmoniously when she didn’t know the status of his health condition.

Sabrina was so adamant on banging at the iron door that she didn’t realize the angry expressions on the faces of the other prisoners.

They were getting madder than ever as she continued to bang on the door.

Without a second warning,the warden moved closer to her and stabbed her stomach with the baton in her hands.

The hit was so severe that it caused Sabrina to fall to the ground,wriggling in pain.

 A lone tear dropped from the corners of her eyes and heart became heavier.

“Hey woman! This is my last warning to you,if you continue to disregard my orders,I’ll send you to a dark room for caution .You might never make it alive!”

The warden’s words didn’t carry any trace of empty threat.

Sabrina of all people knew better than anyone that the people in the prison cell, especially the inmates and wardens could do anything to her and no one would hold them responsible.

After all,she was just a piece of trash that was discarded by Sean Sheldon. 

Sabrina whimpered and stared at the woman with her teary eyes.

Seeing this scene,the warden was enraged and pointed at Sabrina.

“What? Do you want to fight back? Are you enraged right now? Should I give you a good beating?”

As the warden woman asked the questions,she kept hitting Sabrina with the baton.

Soon after,Sabrina’s body was already covered in bruises.

It was a pitiful sight to see but nobody cared to help her out.She just had to endure the pain and surge the place.

 Little Sage was still waiting for her back at the hospital.

Thinking of the little man, who lying on the hospital bed in need of a open heart surgery,Sabrina closed her eyes and squeezed out a few tears.

“Just let me out of here! Give me few minutes,I’ll look at my son’s face and come back immediately,I promise!” 

When Sabrina got a glimmer of this idea,she held the iron door and managed to stand to her feet.

  “Ma’am, I won’t run away,I just need to see my son once.”

She folded her hands and pleaded before the woman but nobody paid any attention to her.

 It appeared as though she was crazy since the whole place left her with no choice but to question her own sanity.

   “Are you even listening to me at all! Let me go! My son is waiting for me!” Sabrina screamed.

Sabrina heard a familiar voice spy from the side as she was crying. 

“This atmosphere suits you much better,don’t you think? Mrs.Sheldon?” 

It was Avery Lynx again.

“A slabs should always stayed a slave and never as a queen.You look great behind those iron walls and your dirty clothes,hands and face suit you better.I can’t believe you wasted three years of your life doing nothing—I mean prison cells should have been your favorite thing.Well,it’s never too late to make amends,that’s why I’m here!” 

Avery smirked and walked towards the iron cell.

“Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! You look so much better now that I’m closer to you!”

  Sabrina was already too weak to put up a fight,so she raised her weary eyes and looked at Avery before asking.

“Have I ever done to you? Why are you treating me like a criminal?”

 “Of course,you are a criminal without a doubt! You are a criminal who stole something that belongs to me.Not only did you steal from me but you also cheated Sean Sheldon,did you think he won’t find out the truth? Or you thought he won’t punish you because he’s grown attached to you?”

 “Since he wasn’t willing to do anything about it,I just helped out a little.I sent the papers over to him and made sure he sees them clean and clearly. How was it? Did I do a good job?”

“Of course,I did.That’s why you are here,behind bars! I should get an Oscar for my acting skills,don’t I deserve even that?”  

Avery continued to mock Sabrina as she spoke.

Sabrina bursts into tears when she heard what Avery said.Her doubts were confirmed by this.

Avery Lynx was truly behind everything that happened here today.She was not just a cunning person but evil.

 “Why did you have to drag my son into this? He’s just a boy! He’s done nothing wrong to deserve this,Ms.Lynx”

Sabrina spoke in a low tone,but Avery got a hold of what she said.

 “Of course not! He’s not just sn innocent boy but a bond between you two,how can I let him live? When he’s clearly coming between my dreams and reality?”

 “He just had to be the link of separation between you two and it’s worked!”

Avery Lynx clapped her hands victoriously as she watched Sabrina wallow in agony.

“You shouldn’t have done that! You shouldn’t have!!” 

Sabrina was enraged and disgusted.She stood up with rage and tried to attack Avery.
