(Kayshila)

Again. I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the ceiling in a not-so-big room. The room is not too bright. Only one light is on. Dimly impressed. I rubbed my eyes, is it my eyes or is it the lighting of the room like this? Maybe because I was tired or too shocked to face the reality that happened, a few minutes ago. Uh? Wait? What happened to me?!

I rose from my lie on the sofa which is not too soft. Look here and there.

"Are you awake?" asked the man next to me. He sat right next to my head. He is Laksana Davendra Ishan. I was beyond shocked. I automatically looked back at him, but my breath hitched, my stomach hurt. Yes. This is what happens when I move too much and twist my stitches. I held my stomach.

"Just get up slowly. Would you like a drink? Water or hot tea?” He offers. Next to the sofa we sat, there was a table. A glass of water and a cup of tea are provided.

I looked around the corner of the room.

"Are you looking for your big bro?"

WHAT!? What's the matter with him? A few hours ago, he such a pushy person, arrogant, and very confident. His speaking style was sloppy. Why is he suddenly lowering his voice now?

I grabbed my bag that was on the floor and searched for my phone. When I found my phone and was about to press the button, this man stopped me.

"You don't need a call. Your big bro just came home, he said his wife was a little sick. So he entrusted you to me. Oh, so the Caucasian woman yesterday was your sister-in-law, right?”

So, Rangga entrusted me to this Ishan?! What else is going on here? Didn't Rangga say that he didn't like Ishan? I stood up and walked over to the table to get some water. When I took two steps, I suddenly felt dizzy and almost fell. Ishan immediately caught my dazed body. Ugh, I'm so annoyed. It looks like he's annoyed too. But he took a deep breath.

"I've been asking you, why didn't you answer any of them? I asked you what you wanted to drink and you ignored my question!" his voice implied, holding back anger.

Now. Finally, his original voice came out.

"I'm sorry Mr Ishan, I'm not feeling well and I'm running out of energy to prevent things related to you. So, I thought just take care of your problem and don't contact me again. Especially if it involves me."

          My cell phone rings.

"Hello Citra. I'm so sorry I can't go there anymore. I'm on my way to the hospital. Cath was taken by ambulance." Ranga panicked. Very panicked. "Maybe because she was tired. Are you OK, sis?"

"I'm OK. Don't worry. So what should I do?"

"I took a taxi, so there are some baby stuff was ready in the apartment ready to be taken. That's all you take to the hospital. See you!"

Even Rangga forgot to tell which hospital Cath would give birth to. Since Cath was constantly changing the ultrasound location every month, she said she was looking for the best alternative doctor.

I am standing. Ishan holds my hand swiftly.

"I'll take you." bargain. He heard my conversation on the phone with Rangga. It's because even though I don't use speaker mode, Rangga's rather large voice sounds obvious.

"Sorry, Mr. Ishan. There are a lot of journalists out there and I don't want to be their target. I'm just asking you not to involve me again, please."

Ishan is still holding my hand. I gave a code to Ishan to let go of my hand. He looked at me for a while. Then he smiled.

"I want to take you. You know it's 12 o'clock at night. How much longer are you waiting for a passing taxi or ordering a taxi online?" He finally let go of my hand.

Now it's my turn to look at this Ishan.

I don't know why I responded to his offer. The police station was deserted. I also ignored my question to myself, where were all the people I met earlier?

          "Where's everybody?" I asked curiously.

"Already home." the answer is short.

"I think this matter is too unusual…"

"Of course. Will continue in court maybe." cut it.

          "What is my status?"

He didn't answer. Just smile a little.

The streets were almost deserted at 00.00 AM. When Ishan stepped on the gas pedal, it only took me 25 minutes to reach my apartment. I staggered towards the elevator and pressed the number 5 button. Along the way, Ishan didn't ask me any questions. He just asked the direction of the road to make sure that the path was not wrong. Great!

All door locks in this apartment use a password key. So very safe. If someone presses the wrong password number, usually the alarm on the door will sound. I'm sorting out the baby stuff I just bought this afternoon. Take it out of the plastic and put it in the washing machine. I do a lot of bending down and standing up straight again. My stomach, which has been stitched together, hurts. To the point that I unconsciously let out a voice, "Duh why does it hurt?" My face grimaced.

Ishan, who had been silent all this time, was also busy collecting the scattered plastics and piling them together and immediately looked at me when I grimaced.

"You can sit down. Don't be too busy. Maybe your stitches aren't dry yet?"

Ishan goes to the pantry. He looked around the cupboards near the pantry as he opened them one by one. I just watched him grinning.

"What do you want?" I asked because it had been a few seconds since he had almost opened all the cupboards and drawers in the pantry.

"Glass. I am thirsty. Haven't you been drinking too?"

Oh yes. I realized that my lips were dry. I'm dehydrated. My exhaustion turned out to make me forget about thirst and hunger. I'm too stressed for tonight.

          A few hours ago,

"Citra, you really don't know him, do you?" whispered Rangga behind me. When we came to the police station, this man, Ishan, immediately rushed to me and introduced me as his fiancé to everyone.

"What? I really don't know him. Never talk." I replied to Rangga while whispering too.

"I don't like him." said Rangga.

When Laksana Davendra Ishan said that I was his fiancé, the whole room was excited. Especially his Mother and Father who were there.

"Daven! Don't be kidding me!" Ishan's mother chirps. Startled. His mother is a typical socialite woman but doesn't seem to meddle in other people's business. Her face is so sweet and gentle. Maybe, she was just dizzy seeing her son's behavior. While his father, typically quiet and observing. His face was the same as his wife's. Calm and charismatic. He had smiled at me.

"Wait. I apologize. I don't…" my words trailed off. Ishan hugs me. Rangga looks shocked.

"I apologize. I'm not honest. Citra was there with me. So, next Citra will give her explanation." Ishan cut me off.

The two policemen who had approached me at the hospital a few days ago, were in the room. After hearing Ishan's statement, the two of them were busy preparing some documents, and Mr. Anton, Ishan's lawyer, was also busy talking to the two policemen. Apart from Ishan's two parents who were conspicuous in the room, there was a small glass room. I don't know what the purpose of the glass in this room was for. What is certain is that in the glass room, there is a man who may be said to be the same age as Ishan's father and a beautiful and sexy woman. This woman looks very annoyed. She folded her arms across her chest.

Ishan pulled me out of the room. There must have been many reporters waiting at the end of the hall. Fortunately, the hallway leading to the room by the police guarded.

"Sorry." Ishan started. At that time, Rangga also came out. He hears Ishan's apology.

"I don't understand what this means? I don't know you." I said emotionally but in a low voice so that the reporters at the end of the hall wouldn't hear us.

"I want you to help me. Just this time." Ishan begged. He cupped his palms together.

"Is it because you already paid for my hospital fees? How much? I will pay today as well."

"No. Not that. But there are some things because of this case, my business will be hindered."

"Speak formally. You and I are not that close either. And it's your business if your business is blocked. Why did I get involved?"

Ishan's face changed. He bit his teeth until his jaw clenched.

"Oh, I talk to you nicely. Why can't you just listen to me for a bit?!"

"I've spoken politely to you and I don't want to be involved in your business. I've suffered enough because of you I got shot too." I pointed at my stomach.

"Wow! Even if you weren't on the emergency stairs at that time. You are crazy, are you playing with your life??!!"

At that moment, I was short of breath, and my vision was blurry.

Now,

My phone rings again. The incident a few hours ago broke up.

"Image, Cath will have surgery." tell Ranga. His voice was limp.

My legs went limp too. Luckily I was still strong holding the glass. Ishan snatched the phone from me.

"In which hospital?" he asked. "Oh yes. We'll be right there." Ishan handed back my phone. I don't even have the energy to be angry with him. I hope Cath and the baby are okay.

"Is there anything else to prepare?" Ishan asked me.

"There is not any." I answered briefly.

In the hospital,

I've been waiting outside the operating room for 30 minutes. We should have to wait for the pediatrician and the anesthesiologist to come. Rangga panicked. He went in and out of the room. He looks pissed. This man, Ishan, was also furious. If Rangga was going back and forth from the room asking me whether to do surgery on the stomach, it hurt or not because the gunshot marks that I got were the same as a Caesarean operation, according to him. At the same time, Ishan looked at his cell phone many times. I glanced at his cellphone, but he didn't do anything with his cellphone. He just took a look, then locked it again, turned it on again, and locked it again.

I? I panicked too. My panic was quite amused by these two men. Although I was wondering what the function of Ishan was in waiting for Cath to give birth. I didn't even chat with him. Ishan was quite functional with us to the hospital. He self-consciously bought food and drinks for us. He was also the one who helped me carry Cath's baby-to-be stuff into the hospital room.

"Why did it take so long?" Ishan asked me while looking at his phone. I don't know what it opened—news portal but not read.

"Waiting for the anesthesiologist hasn't come yet." I answered. I leaned back in the waiting chair and my head against the wall.

"You're not angry anymore?" He didn't respond to my answer.

          "No energy."

          "Want to thank me?"

I changed my body position towards Ishan, who was sitting two chairs away.

"What does it mean?" My face is cynical.

"Have you taken off the stitches yet?" He even asked. He was ignoring my previous question. He held his stomach as if it was mine.

          "Not yet."

"Okay. Then I'll register this afternoon. Coincidentally, I also want to have my chest checked." He stroked his chest.

"Just check it yourself. I can do it myself." I said curtly.

"Don't speak formally with me." he said.

At that moment, my cell phone and his cell phone rang short. Signs there is an incoming short message. My short message came from a message on I*******m.

"Cit, are you engaged to Davendra? The famous businessman? How come?"

"Since when are you engaged to @daven.dra?"

"Wow after Edr** comes out @daven.dra. Salute! Forget about that bastard. It's time to improve your life and your love life standard! Hehehe."

And many others that I read quickly. Then I clicked on one of the photos my friends were referring to. GEEZ! It turns out that the line of social media is high-speed. There's a photo of me with Ishan at the police station. It happened when I got angry with Ishan and finally passed out. here's the next slide. There's also a photo of me crossing the police station parking lot and following Ishan from behind. There is a photo of me with Ishan in the hospital right now. Am sitting. The title of the post to represent the photos is

"The entrepreneur has a new woman again."

"It seems the entrepreneur is looking for another atmosphere, that's why the women are now from the common people."

Is this serious? I stared at the very famous Indonesian gossip-only I*******m account on my cellphone screen. Almost the average person who has a social media account follows this gossip account. I held back my anger. Very restrained. Ishan is also looking at his I*******m because my friends mention his name.

Ishan's cell phone rings. This time it was very long. Ishan was indifferent. On the third ring, he finally decided to answer.

"I don't wanna hear your preach, Mira." Ishan said curtly. He got up from his seat and walked away.

I stared at the closed operating room door. Rangga is no longer in and out. Meaning he was waiting for Cath inside. I don't know if Rangga is allowed to enter the operating room or not. After a few minutes, Ishan came. This time he sat right next to me without saying anything.

(Kayshila)I looked at my watch many times and even looked at my phone screen where there were no notifications. There are no incoming calls."Davendra, where are you?" asked Mama Ishan calling her son in a whisper even in front of me. I can still hear his voice clearly. "Oh, I see... so you can't take Citra?" Mama Ishan looks disappointed. She immediately turned off his phone and looked at me."Daven said he was busy. He also said that many have delivered." Mama Ishan looked down languidly. I smiled at her, indicating that everything was fine."It's okay, Auntie. It's busy. Yesterday you told me." I gave an explanation. Lie. Rangga and Cath looked at me with strange looks. They knew that Ishan and I had a fight because

(Davendra)Since Citra decided to go to Manila these few days, she has been busy. Working overtime to prepare preparations at the Manila branch office. But tonight, when I came home and opened the door to her apartment, an unusual sight caught me off guard. I stood still standing near the door. The whole apartment was a mess. Her belongings are scattered."Ishan. You coming home?" greeting her."What is this?" I looked around the whole apartment."Mr. Dewa called me saying I have to get ready. Tickets are booked.""You're leaving soon?" I asked."Yes. Day after tomorrow," she answered happily.I am quiet. I took off my blazer and walked into her messy room. I sat looking at some of the things in her room. In fact, I haven't given her my answer yet, whether I allow it or not. I'm her fiancé.I can see Citra busy with her things from the room."What will you bring?" I half-shouted.

(Kayshila)When I put my bag on the desk, Lashira came up to me."You're wanted in the group.""Oh yes?" I opened my bag and reached for my cell phone, which was in my bag. Then carefully unlocked my phone. It turns out that there will be an urgent meeting in my division group that is very urgent. I hurriedly grabbed the little book I always carried to appointments and ran towards the big meeting room. Everyone had gathered, including Mrs Sarah, who was sitting pretty next to the other team."Well then, our Senior Project Manager has arrived." said one of the team, a thin and slightly pale man."We're just waitin

(Kayshila) During the day, police station, I thought the police station would be as quiet as I thought it would be. It turned out to be very busy here. I came to the police station accompanied by Mr. Anton, the lawyer for the Ishan company. He is very friendly. On my trip with him, I was told some of the possibilities that Meira and Edric would face. That, too, depends on me. It depends on the information I convey later. I followed a cop in a polo shirt draping his ID around a room. Well, this room is cold. There were only three tables inside. Neatly arranged, and there is a rather large aquarium at the end. Two scribbled whiteboards. The polo shirt cop told me to sit in a single soft chair. It was seven o'clock in the evening, and there were only three of us. "How are you, Miss Kayshila?" friendly greeting. His gaze was serious. Occasionally look at me carefully. "I'm better than yesterday, Sir." "I'm R

(Kayshila)Doctor Silva just hugged me warmly. Calms me down."You've changed a lot, Kay. Feel happiness and joy," she said with a smile. My eyes glaze over."Can I come here if I want to chat?""Sure, Kay. Anytime."Doctor Silva escorted us to the outside door. The appearance is neat but looks relaxed. Not like a doctor in general. Maybe because Doctor Silva is a psychiatrist. On the way, Ishan and I didn't utter a word. Ishan's gaze was straight ahead. He was too focused on the street. For some reason, our silence makes me sleepy. As I started to close my eyes, Ishan spoke."Citra," call him."Hmmm." I just mumbled."From now on, can you be honest with me?""About what?""Everything. There's nothing to hide.""I have nothing to hide. Did you hear everything?""Yes.""Was there a problem after you heard my confession?""There is.""What's that?"

(Kayshila)I sat lazily on the couch in front of the TV. Putting my feet on the table and sipping my green tea. Last night I just got out of the hospital, about five days I was hospitalized there. I should have been out on the third day because I was healthy and ready to work. However, Ishan added two more days for me to rest. Every time I go to the hospital, I always recover quickly. Although some parts of my body hurt. I can handle that. I don't think the pain I experienced was as painful as my previous trauma. Formerly? Have I recovered from my past trauma? I grabbed the phone that was on the table. One week has passed since the incident."Hello, Afternoon Doc." my greeting is friendly."Afternoon, Kayshila," she replied. Her voice was a little hoarse, maybe after waking up."Does the doctor have this day off?" I asked."Not available. Maybe I'll go shopping. What's wrong, Kay? Are you alright? I heard you….
