Chapter 11: Darryl's Worries

On the fifth floor of the villa, in the sumptuous bedroom, the golden light by the bed dimly illuminated the man's calm face. He was breathing evenly, his face contemplative.

"The wound on your shoulder wasn't too deep, the bullet just grazed it." A man in a white blouse carefully disinfected and bandaged Darryl's wound. He's Kane, Darryl's trusted doctor. He is one of the rare people who has the privilege of freely entering and leaving Darryl's mansion. It was he who had saved Darryl's life many times.

"What about her?"

"She's fine, it's just that she's too scared so her nerves are tense. Besides, her skin wounds are all covered by me." Kane said in a monotone voice.

"Does it leave a scar?"

"It is possible. But if you work hard to apply medicine and use herbs, you can fade the scar."

"Then please give her a prescription."

After saying that, Darryl got off the bed and was about to go to the next room.

"Hey, she's asleep. You might wake her up." Kane reminded.
