Her eyes flickered as she sighed looking up at Joshua. And Clarice knew the meaning of that look, that Joshua wanted her to talk about what she was feeling.

"So," Joshua said with a sigh, then sat back in his chair, "what haven't you told me about how you feel lately, Baby?"

Like she was in a game where she had to choose one or the other, Clarice really couldn't choose. She was so reluctant to even tell him what was bothering her that her tears came, falling.
