"Hey, Clarice, do you want to go to the bar?" asked Stella, offering. "Don't worry, there are non-alcoholic drinks."

Clarice considered the offer. After all, she hadn't hung out with her coworkers in a long time and there was nothing wrong with going to a bar, right? 

"Okay. I'm in!" said Clarice, tidying up her desk.

She and Stella were in the same car, while the others were in their own cars. There was no thought in Clarice's head that she should call Joshua. She had completely forgotten that she was already with Joshua, and all because she needed to be entertained at least once in a while.
