A Week Ultimatum

" I want to send a gift to Chu Linglong" Xiuying said while they were on their way back.

Chu Linglong was the wife of Fu Jing the director of Chu group. 

" Okay. May I ask what the gift maybe?" Shancai asked with her eyes blinking in curiosity.

" Here. Have this delivered to the Fu's residence tonight" She passed a flash drive to her assistant sitting in the shotgun's seat.

Shancai gulped seeing the flash drive. She already knew what it contained. She didn't expect her boss to be so cruel to send the video to Mr Fu's wife.

It was none of her business anyway and serves him right for cheating on his wife. 

Xiuying looked out of the window. By tomorrow, Mr Fu would surely regret his action. She shook her head in false pity for him and turned to Yuxuan. She noticed he was fast asleep.

 Caomei Entertainment, President's Office.

A tall skinny man suddenly barged into the office without bothering to wait for permission before entering.

Zheng Tianyi's eyebrows furrowed at the sudden intrusion. He was a person that values his privacy and all of his workers were well aware of that. 

" What is it?" His cool voice sounded with an hint of irritation.  

Han Sen took a step back for fear of his Boss temper. He crossed the line because of his anxiousness to deliver a news to his boss.

" I just got the news that Mr Fu from the Chu group and Mr. Chen are no longer shareholders in ZG Group. " Han Sen  told his boss slightly quivering in fear.

Fortunately for him, Zheng Tianyi didn't react on hearing the news which calmed  his palpitating heart.

Zheng Tianyi's long fingers curled into a fist. His thin lips turned downwards revealing his sour handsome face. 

He had already set his mind on buying the shares of Fu Jing and Chen Yi. He didn't expect someone to beat him to it in the span of twenty four hours. 

Taking a deep breath, he unclenched his fist and straightened himself. His russet eyes coldly stared at his assistant that was standing a bit faraway from him for fear of being hit.

Was he that scary? Maybe. 

Zheng Tianyi could never understand the reason his assistant was always terrified of him. He massaged his temples.

" Did you find out who got the shares?" He was curious to know the person that got 30% shares of ZG Group in a day. 

Han Sen nodded his head. " It was a female that got the shares. She blackmailed them just to get it. " 

Zheng Tianyi was very surprised hearing what his assistant said. Although he still had a stoic face, the surprise in his eyes couldn't be mistaken.

" Make an arrangement with her. I don't care about whatever it takes, I want the shares to be in my name before the week runs out" Zheng Tianyi ordered. He didn't care about the amount she would request just to transfer the shares. He was not lacking money anyway. 

Han Sen nodded his head and bowed before taking his leave. He had to prepare to meet the owner of the 30% shares.

" Ms. Xiuying, I received a message from  Caomei Entertainment hoping to create an appointment with us. They didn't state the reason so I didn't give them a reply. I suspect it has to do with the shares you just acquired. " Shancai informed her boss. They currently going through some documents at Xiuying's house when she received the e-mail.

" Hmmmm....I think so too. Reject the appointment. Let's see if they are really worthy of my time. If they are persistent enough, I might give them a chance and hear what they have to say" Xiuying said nonchalantly. She smiled thinking about how fast they managed to contact her in just two days that she acquired the shares.

Shancai was about to reply when she saw Yuxuan coming out of his room with a pout on his small face.

" Bang!!" The loud sound he made while closing the door alerted Xiuying who was engrossed in the paper works she was busy with. She patted her chest seeing it was her mischievous son that made the sound. 

Yuxuan approached her and folded his tiny hands still pouting. Xiuying sighed. She understood he was upset because she told him it won't take long before she joins him in his bedroom. She had been swamped with work that she lost track of time making Yuxuan feel neglected.

Back in Seattle where they resided, he didn't bother about her because he is always out with his uncle visiting fun places. But now that it was just the both of them, it made him feel very bored.

Shancai had to control herself from pinching his adorable cheeks. He was cute even while pouting. Staring at him in admiration, she felt like she was looking at the smaller version of someone. Shaking her head at her absurd thought, she began to pack up.

Shancai had to work from Xiuying's home to relay all that had been going on at her company to her. Xiuying already told her she had no intentions of visiting the Company since they were already doing well without her.

Xiuying also couldn't help but pinch the cheek of her adorable son. Yuxuan relented and didn't bother to pout his tiny lips again. 

Forget it, he was unable to be angry at his gorgeous mother. He smiled at her and pointed at his room.

Xiuying turned to Shancai and said, " I won't see you off today. Bye bye" She waved at her and followed her son into his room.

Shancai looked at the mother and son duo with a smile. It was such a pity that Yuxuan couldn't talk. She was sure the house would have being lively if he could.
