Tavon’s pov:

I didn’t respond, I just stared back at her, trying to understand if she was as confident as she seemed.

Linda wasn’t nervous. She wasn’t doubting herself.

But I saw something else in her expression, and it was desperation masked as control.

She exhaled sharply, regaining her edge. "Take her upstairs."

I studied her carefully, then turned to Suzanne, grabbing her arm firmly, I led her toward the stairs.

She didn’t resist, but she didn’t make it easy either.

Her voice was low and sharp, as she spoke.

"Do you really think Linda has your best interests in mind?"

I barely glanced at her. "Don’t start."

She continued anyway. "She’s only looking out for herself, Tavon."

I exhaled sharply, pulling open the door to her temporary prison. "And you think I don’t know that?"

Suzanne met my gaze, "Then why are you still following her?"

I chuckled, not because I found it funny, but because I found it pathetic.

Suzanne’s pov:Racheal sat beside me, her fingers fidgeting slightly—something I had never seen her do before. She was always composed. Always confident. Always the woman who walked into a room and owned it with grace. But right now?She looked… guilty.A strange vulnerability clung to her like a thin veil, translucent but impossible to miss. She sighed deeply, then met my gaze with eyes that shimmered with hesitation.“Suzanne, I need to say something.”I tilted my head slightly, curious but cautious.“Okay.”She exhaled again—longer this time.“I’m sorry. About everything. The contract marriage, the way it all started... the way we used you.”I blinked, surprised by her sudden apology. It wasn’t something I had expected—not from Racheal. But then, I smiled softly, even if a little sadly.“It’s fine, Racheal. If none of that happened, I wouldn’t be here. And… honestly? I don’t regret it.”She studied me carefully, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly as if trying to gauge if I really

Dominic’s pov:The second I stepped into the cell I lost it.Rage surged through me, fast and uncontrollable.I lunged, my fist colliding with his jaw, the force sending him crashing back against the wall.He grunted but didn’t go down. And I didn’t care, I hit him again, harder.Ford stood back, watching, knowing better than to interfere. But Desmond?Desmond knew when to step in.Tavon raised his arms, trying to shield himself, but it didn’t matter.Every punch, every single one, was for Suzanne. For everything she suffered. For the fear, the pain, the nightmare he caused.Tavon spat blood, laughing darkly, his eyes narrowing. "Do you think this changes anything?"I grabbed his collar, yanking him forward."It changes everything."Another punch. He staggered, breathing heavily, blood dripping from his mouth. Then Desmond grabbed my arm, pulling me back."That’s enough, Dom."I clenched my fists, breathing hard, staring down at Tavon. He chuckled again, wiping the blood from his lip

Dominic's pov:I stepped into her room and saw her watching her favourite Telenovela show.“Did you miss me?” I smiled walking without poise and any form of authority, I was happy to be with the woman I love. The woman I had missed for so long…The woman I had fought to bring home.“I sure did,” a broad smile plastered on her face as she opened her arms to me.“I missed you pumpkin,” I kissed her cheeks and pulled back to take in her smile.“Pumpkin yeah?” she touched my chin, still smiling.“Yes, pumpkin. I don't know how to say I'm sorry enough, but I'm saying it right now.” a minute of silence stretched between us.“I'm sorry for bringing you into all of this. For making your life chaotic.” he shook his head and tightened his jawline, looking away.“Hey, you don't have to be like that,” she stretched her hand to touch me but I fixed my hand in hers instead.“No. I have to, I need to.” he tilted his head and a drop of tear leapt downwards. “I'm sorry for all the heartache I've caus

Ford’s pov:My grip on the steering wheel tightened as we sped through the city streets.Marissa, Liam, and Richard were in the black SUV ahead. From the way they were driving it was obvious they were desperate and trying to escape. They weren’t going to make it.I reached for my radio, my voice was sharp. “They’re heading west! Cut them off before the bridge!”A confirmation came through, and my men adjusted their positions, preparing to corner them. The SUV swerved violently dodging traffic, but we closed in fast. They were running out of options. Then the mistake. The driver miscalculated a sharp turn, their tyres screeching as the vehicle skidded toward a blocked street. It was a dead end.The SUV slammed into a concrete post, and I didn’t hesitate."Move, Move!! Move!!!!"Marissa tried to bolt but I caught her before she made it five steps.Liam threw a punch which was a big mistake. One of my men knocked him down before he could swing again.Richard begged but I wasn’t listening

Dominic’s pov:Walking back into the room, I immediately noticed the energy shift.Suzanne and Stella were smiling, laughing, like old friends again. The tension was gone. The weight, the distance, the unspoken pain, all of it had lifted.Desmond let out a loud, exaggerated sigh, throwing his arms up dramatically. "Finally! I can sleep well at night."Stella rolled her eyes. "Oh, shut up, Desmond."But he grinned anyway. "I mean it! You’ve been disturbing my life since you two got into that argument."Suzanne chuckled, shaking her head. "I can imagine."Desmond’s expression softened slightly, and after a brief pause, he turned toward her. "I’m sorry, too."Suzanne’s smile didn’t falter. "You were only doing what you thought was best."The room felt lighter, finally, things were falling into place again. Then, Suzanne took a deep breath.I frowned slightly, watching as she straightened up. She exhaled, her eyes flicking between Stella and Desmond."I told Dominic already, but I want to

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 133: “Get Over Here”

Suzanne’s pov:The warmth was comforting. It was Soft and Familiar.I shifted slightly, snuggling closer, sighing softly as peace settled over me.It had been so long since I felt like this, safe, held, like nothing could reach me at this moment.I didn’t think about the nightmares, about Tavon, about the past.Just the warmth. Then it hit me.My eyes snapped open.I was lying next to someone.Dominic.A gasp escaped my lips as I jerked upright, my heart was pounding, and my eyes went wide as I stared at him.He was already waking up, his muscles tensing as he sat up suddenly, scanning my face with sharp concern."Are you okay?"His voice was deep, groggy like he had not slept for days, it was filled with worry.I swallowed, still disoriented, blinking rapidly. "I—I'm fine."The door swung open."MUMMY!"The sudden voice made my chest tighten, but then, a small figure rushed toward me.Kai.His tiny feet moved too fast, his arms were wide open, and the second he reached me, he threw h
