Suzanne’s pov:

The line went dead.

My breath hitched, and for a moment, I couldn’t even bring myself to pull the phone away from my ear.

It was like my skin had gone cold all at once. A slick, awful feeling began to crawl up my spine.

"Hope you got my pictures."

I dropped the phone onto the blanket and stared at it like it had turned into something venomous.

My hands shook as I picked it back up and went to my messages. One unread thread. No name. Just that same number.

I tapped it open.

My breath caught.

No. No.

I blinked—once, twice—as if somehow, the pictures would disappear if I didn’t look too hard.

But they were still there. And they weren’t just pictures. They were me.

Me—exposed. Vulnerable. Caught in moments I didn’t even remember someone capturing.

My stomach turned violently.

The angles… the lighting… He’d taken these without my knowledge. I remembered that room, that bed.

My old apartment. I remembered trusting Tavon. I remembered falling asleep next to him.

Linda's pov:I stood frozen in the shadows, watching.Dominic’s voice was low, steady—full of something I had never heard from him before.Suzanne’s presence tethered him, held his focus, and pulled his attention like a force too strong to break. And the way he looked at her—God, the way he looked at her—I had never seen those eyes soften like that for anyone. Not for me.Not even when I had been at the height of my power—untouchable, admired, worshipped. Not when I had commanded rooms, made men tremble, and held Dominic’s loyalty without question. And yet—here he was, steady, present, consumed by a woman who had taken everything from me.I felt the bitter pulse of fury claw up my throat, thick and unbearable.I had to leave. The moment the parking lot cleared, I moved swiftly, heels slicing against the pavement in sharp clicks.I yanked the car door open, slipped inside, and gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white as I shoved the keys into the ignition. The engine grow

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 98: Linda is Not Gone

Suzanne’s pov:The moment we stepped inside, I felt the world shift.Gone was the chaotic hum of paparazzi, the blinding flashes of cameras, the overwhelming noise of voices calling our names. In its place—pure elegance.I took in the space, my breath hitching at the sheer opulence surrounding me.The ceilings stretched impossibly high, adorned with intricately carved chandeliers, their crystals casting a soft golden glow over the room. Marble floors gleamed beneath my heels, reflecting the delicate swirls of candlelight from the long banquet tables that lined the hall. The guests—powerful, poised, untouchable—glided through the space effortlessly, dressed in designer gowns and sharp suits, sipping champagne like they had been born for events like this.Everything screamed prestige. Influence. Control. And yet, despite it all, I felt the faintest edge of unease. As Dominic and I followed the hostess toward our table, I glanced across the room, my gaze snagging for half a second on a

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 97: “Who Made Suzanne’s Dress?”

Dominic’s pov:The house was quiet.I stood near the staircase, adjusting my cufflinks, eyes fixed on the large antique clock ticking steadily in the corner.Suzanne was taking her time.I exhaled slowly, glancing down at my tailored black suit, the crisp folds settling perfectly over my frame. Everything about tonight was calculated—the return to high society, the message it sent, the game I had to play. But even with all that prepared, even with all the expectations carefully laid out—I wasn’t ready for what happened next.Because then, I heard her.The sharp click of designer heels against polished marble.A deliberate, poised rhythm. And when I looked up—Suzanne took my breath away. She descended the stairs slowly, each movement deliberate, each step commanding attention. The red dress clung to her frame, sculpted to perfection, hugging every curve, cascading down her figure like liquid silk. The slit along her leg—bold, daring, sinful—glided against her skin with every step, t

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 96: “Dominic is Switching”

Dominic’s pov:The conference room slowly emptied, board members exchanging pleasantries on their way out, their footsteps fading into the long hallways of Khan Enterprises. The meeting had gone smoothly, but there was still a lingering tightness in my chest—the pressure of being back, of proving I was fully in control again, of ensuring no weaknesses remained. As I gathered my files, Desmond lingered, arms crossed, studying me carefully.I sighed. “Whatever you’re about to say, get it over with.”Desmond smirked. “Did you get an invite to the Blackwell Gala?”My brows furrowed. “Yes.”He tilted his head, waiting for my answer. I already knew what was coming.“I’m not going.”Desmond sighed, shaking his head. “Dominic, you have to.”I frowned, loosening the tie around my collar. “I don’t have to do anything.”“Except rebuild your public image.” His voice was firm, but not challenging, more like he was guiding me toward something obvious. “Everyone’s watching to see if you’re still th

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 95: Cold, Calculated Jealousy

Linda’s pov:It had been a week since I had been on the run.A full, miserable, unbearable week.Every news station had my name plastered across their screens, every government agency was watching, waiting, hunting. My reputation, my power, was in tatters. The woman they once feared was now hiding—reduced to nothing but a fugitive, crouching in the shadows. And my only option?Aligning with Tavon Wright.Reckless. Impulsive. Arrogant. But he was the only person left who hated Suzanne as much as I did.And right now? Hate was the only thing keeping me standing.I sat in the dimly lit study of Tavon’s secluded estate, curling my fingers around a crystal glass of whiskey, my nails tapping against the surface as the television buzzed faintly in the background. The headline flashed across the screen, Dominic Khan Fully Recovers, Seen entering his office. My jaw clenched.Suzanne caused all this. The woman who had cost me everything.I raised the glass to my lips, letting the alcohol burn

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 94: “I Know This Is Just a Contract Marriage”

Dominic’s pov:I lay awake, staring at the ceiling, my thoughts tangled in ways I couldn’t quite control.Last night had been... intense. Suzanne had been everything—soft, warm, willing. And for a fleeting moment, I had let myself forget.Forget the truth. Forget the weight of the secret pressing against my chest. But now, in the quiet aftermath, I felt it again—worse than before.Guilt.Unshakable, suffocating guilt.I turned my head slightly, watching Suzanne as she slept. She looked peaceful, content, completely unaware of the storm raging inside me.And that? That was the problem. She didn’t know. She had fought for me, protected my name, and stood beside me. She had trusted me.And I was keeping something from her that would break that trust in ways she couldn’t imagine.I exhaled, rubbing my hand over my face. This was wrong.I couldn’t keep pretending everything was normal when it wasn’t.I needed to—Suzanne stirred, shifting beside me. Her lashes fluttered open, and when her

Enjoy… Suzanne’s pov:I blinked against the glow, shifting slightly, warmth pressing against my skin. The air was thick with quiet—too still, too charged.Dominic was still asleep.I turned my head to study him, my gaze trailing over the sharp angles of his face, the slight furrow of his brow even in rest. He was always thinking, always calculating—never at ease. But now, in this moment, he looked... human.Something inside me stirred, something restless, something aching.I swallowed, shifting again, my breath coming just a little faster.Everything felt heightened of late. My emotions, my senses, my body’s every reaction.Maybe it was the pregnancy.Maybe it was the fact that Dominic had come back—not just physically, but in a way I hadn’t expected. The way he had looked at me last night lingered. The way his voice had softened when he told me I didn’t have

  • Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival   Chapter 92: Does She See The War Going on Inside Me

Dominic’s pov:The drive home was quiet.Suzanne sat beside me, staring out the window, lost in thought. She didn’t push for a conversation, didn’t try to fill the silence with pointless words. And strangely, I appreciated that.I rested my elbow against the car door, massaging my temple. My body was recovering, but my mind… It was a battlefield.Too many thoughts. Too many memories clawing at the edges.Every time my gaze flicked toward Suzanne, something tightened in my chest. She had fought for me—without hesitation, without question. And now she was here, sitting beside me as if it was the most natural thing in the world. As if I was someone worth saving.I let out a slow exhale and turned back to the window. She doesn’t know. And that truth sat heavy in my gut.I wanted to tell her. To confess everything, to explain how this all began, how her son’s illness wasn’t what she thought it was. But the words never came.Because if I told her the truth now, what would she do? Would she

Suzanne’s pov: The doctors did one more check-up on Dominic and he was cleared to leave, I made sure all his belongings were packed properly. “ Suzanne, we are ready to go,” Stella said as I placed the blanket in the box. “Please can you tell Desmond and Ford to come help me carry the boxes”“Yeah sure thing.”“You know the maids would have done this right?” Dominic said as he came out of the bathroom. “Yes, but I wanted to make sure I got everything”. I said as I closed the box, “How are you feeling?” “For the hundredth time Suzanne, I am fine, perfectly fine.
