The Newton foundation was the only thing her father had before his death and she would by all means protect it, even if protecting it, meant losing her innocence to a stranger. Lilly didn't care, all she cared about was the welfare of the Newton image. She wasn't doing this for herself but for her family.
When her father died, Mr. Thomas, who happened to be her father's younger brother, and also her uncle, took control of the business to manage it before she became of age. At the time of her father's death, she had been too young to take over the company.
Now the company was going to fall. She couldn't allow that. It was her inheritance and her responsibility to protect it. She had promised to do that and no matter how difficult the situation proved to be, she had to protect it.
"By doing this, the company will be saved," Lilly whispered as she fisted her hands.
She took a deep breath and threw another glance into the dark room. She then turned her eyes onto the Butler who had been waiting patiently for her to make a decision.
"Alright, I'm going in," she finally said, and the Butler nodded, accepting her decision.
"You may go in, Miss. My boss will be here any moment from now and he hates it when things don't go in order," Butler said with seriousness smeared all over his face.
"Alright," she replied. She summoned courage and started taking a step into the room when the Butler stopped her.
"Miss Lilly, whatever you do, don't turn on the lights. Just leave it the way it is." Butler warned in a voice that sent chills down her stomach.
It was a miracle Lilly didn't turn on her heels and run right at that moment. She simply nodded snd went inside. The moment she got in, the door suddenly shut behind her, making her jump in fear.
Lilly pulled up the pieces of her insides and decided to find the bed. She was obviously in a bedroom and all she needed was to find a place to sit. Using her fingers, she felt around the room, careful not to fall anything as she successfully made her way to the bed using the occasional flash of lightning to locate it.
As she sat down, the doubt started returning and she didn't know if she was doing the right thing or not. Yet, her aunt had told her this was the only way.
It was her inheritance, she had to protect it.
Aunt Yelena had also said this was for the betterment of everyone. She had to stay strong.
The room felt even colder than when she first stepped in. Her heart was beating louder than the rain hitting the windows, yet Lilly stayed strong.
She sighed softly and tightened her hands together. She started rubbing them together to get some warmth but it was useless. The situation wasn't even helping. What would she tell Michael?
How would he feel when he found out she had lost her virginity to another man?
She asked herself this question over and over as she sat alone in the cold and dark room. On her own, she couldn't get an answer but she remembered what her aunt Yelena had told her.
She had assured Lilly that no one was going to find out about this. The secret would remain within the family and no one would know about it.
Lightening stroke again and Lilly hugged herself.
How did she even get here? She wondered.
When the issue was brought to her, she had blatantly refused it. How did her aunt and uncle expect her to have a nightstand with a man she barely knew when she was supposed to get married in a few months, to her fiance Michael?
But this was about her father's hard work. This was about what her father had toiled for. It was about what he had built for years. It would be cruel on her part to ignore the situation. Her uncle had sacrificed so much, now it was her turn. Aunt Yelena and Sofia had also not failed in making her see reasons.
It was a hard decision to make. Especially if the people involved were the only ones she had as a family. She had no one left in life, apart from her uncle Thomas and his family, who were the only ones she had in her life now.
Lilly also loved them wholeheartedly and would go to any extent to make them happy. She started reconsidering her decisions. Since the issue would not be leaked out to her fiance, she could carry the guilt all by herself, for her family's sake.
"Michael will never get to know about this," she whispered sadly to herself as a drop of tear escaped her beautiful eyes. Maybe she should have slept with Michael before coming here but he would have suspected something was off. How could she, who had been preserving herself for their marriage suddenly request for sex?
She was helpless.
"I'm sorry, Michael," she said under her breath.
Just at that moment, the door snapped open and a tall figure stepped. Lilly's heart jumped to her throat and she feared it would escape as she watched the silhouette of a man.
She got to her feet and tried to stammer out a sort of conversation, "H—ello? My na—me is—"
The door suddenly snapped shut and Lilly swallowed her next words in the next instant as the man's thunderous voice filled the dark room.
"Get your clothes off! I don't have much time to waste!" He commanded and even the rain seemed to fear him as it suddenly reduced into tiny droplets.
Lilly was shocked. She didn't expect it to turn out like this. She thought they could hold a little conversation before they got into the business of the day.
How would you have sex with someone without even caring to hear their name first? What sort of man was going to take her innocence?
"O—okay," she squeaked out as fear crawled against her body.
He remained by the door and she feared he would hurt her if she delayed any further. It was even better this way, she thought. The sooner they starter, the earlier they finished.
With shaky hands, she took off her clothes as she was told. The cold air kissed her bare skin, making her nipples hard and firm. For the first time, she was grateful for the darkness. She would have been so ashamed of herself if the lights were on.
"I am d—one," she whispered, trying but failing to sound strong.
"Hmm," the figure sighed as he began his journey towards her.
Her heart was in her throat as she counted his steps towards her. He didn't need the lightnjng to get to her, he obviously knew the arrangement and positioning of things in this room.
The man got in front of her and without wasting time, he grabbed her by the waist and pushed her to the bed.
Chapter 20 Everyone was shocked at Nicklaus' words, including Lilly herself. What was he saying, and what did he mean when it was clear that the girl was announced to be Michael's fiancée? "Nicklaus, how many times have I told you to stop declaring what belongs to my son as yours!" Charlotte spat, having had enough of Nicklaus's displays. She knew from the start that Nicklaus's aim was to destroy Michael's reputation. Lilly, on the other hand, could feel her heart racing fast towards what would happen next, but whatever happened, she was ready to embrace it. Maybe this was an opportunity for her to be free. At least, this would save her from marrying Michael if the truth was revealed. Nicklaus laughed sarcastically. "I didn't quite hear you? What belongs to your son? Her?" He asked, raising his brow at Charlotte. "She has never belonged to your son from the very start. The only person permitted to fuck her and bear babies in her womb is me," Nicklaus declared, authoritatively, withou
Chapter 19Lilly was frozen in her seat, hearing her heart's heartbeat drumming in her ears. She couldn't believe her eyes at who she was seeing. How could this be? Why is he here? Why? She screamed in her head with no words to utter. Who would have thought the man she had a one-night stand with was the son of her fiancé's grandpa? Does that mean this Nicklaus was an uncle to Michael? Lilly felt like the ground should open and swallow her now because she couldn't bear this revelation. And what if he reveals their encounter? She is doomed!"Nicklaus, how could you say such a thing? Lilly here is the fiancée of your nephew, and they are getting married soon!" Charlotte snarled. She hated the fact that Nicklaus' presence was going to change the atmosphere of the party. She didn't even know why he attended and why he decided to attend this year's party. After all, he had never attended the past years, but whatever the reason might be, she needed to secure her son's position before anythin

Married To My Fiancé's UncleChapter 17It felt almost like hell watching the two lovers engage in their activities in her presence. The more she wanted to distance herself from them, the more she found herself trapped in this situation. There seemed to be no way out, no matter how hard she tried. Lilly made a conscious effort to keep her gaze fixed on the car window, watching the passing buildings outside, even though she couldn't block out Sofia's irritating and foolish moans. She wished she could strangle her already. As much as she wished for the car to flip upside down and be involved in a terrible accident causing a terrifying injury, she had second thoughts about it. After all, she was in the same car with them, which meant that whatever happened to them might also befall her. She had no desire to suffer the same fate as them. Nevertheless, being in the same car with them felt suffocating.Sofia's moaning was disturbing, and Michael's continuous provocating words were as unplea
Chapter 16 Downstairs in the living room, Michael was seated with his legs crossed on the couch. Beside him was Sofia, who was trying her best to look attractive for him. She was wearing an off-shoulder gown that came down to just above her knee. The gown was white and had a flowing design. Her hair was gathered in a bun, and she wore a pair of high heels to complete the look. She moved closer to Michael and interlocked her fingers with his, holding his hand firmly despite the warning glances her father was sending. Ignoring his disapproval, she moved even closer, making sure to stay near him. She wanted Michael's attention to be focused on her today. Despite the fact that Lilly was going to be introduced to Michael's grandfather as his fiancée, Sofia still wanted to seize every opportunity to be with him. Michael glanced at his watch and sighed in disappointment. He had only arrived about ten minutes ago, yet his patience was already wearing thin. "What's taking her so long?" he as
Chapter 15 It has been three days since the incident happened. Lilly was seated in her room, looking at the mirror before her. She was dressed in her finest gown and appeared like a radiant queen, with light makeup enhancing her face. An expensive necklace was worn across her neck, accompanied by two or three bracelets on her arms. She looked exceptionally stunning and captivating. Today was the day – the day she would attend Michael's grandpa's party, pretending to be his beloved fiancée despite all that had happened in the past couple of days. This would mark one of the most unpleasant and stressful moments of her life. She couldn't believe she was destined to spend more time with this demon who had shattered her heart and destroyed the trust she once had for him. It wasn't truly the rest of her life, but the upcoming months seemed to stretch out like a year to her. And to add insult to injury, he would continue messing around with Sofia! "That bastard!" Lilly said as thoughts of
