Chapter 7

In a certain room, Charlotte breathed heavily as she gazed at the scattered clothes that were displayed on the marble ground, she seemed to be having a hard time deciding what to wear to the ball the next day.

She hissed when she searched the entire closet, the designer clothes she had was not enough, though they were of high quality and was quite expensive, but none of them seemed to meet her taste.

She sat down in her bed in defeat, suddenly an idea perked to her mind, she brought out her phone and went online, to an online plaza, the clothes displayed was of high quality, it looked beautiful.

The high quality gowns seemed to catch her interest, she quickly added it to her cart, she needed it to be delivered to her door step, as soon as possible, so she had to purchase it first, as to be the first customer.

She smiled to her self, already imagining herself in the beautiful gown, her eyes shoned beautifully, she could already see herself standing beside him as his wife.

Jeremy Hart was one of the world's richest bachelor, he was rumored to be frigid and straight forward, and of course, he was every lady's dream including hers, she had loved him so much when she was little and hoped to be his wife.

She could already imagine her self in the wedding gown, a faint blush appeared in her perfect tone cheek.

"What's up with the blush?" Cheyenne, who was standing at a corner in the entrace of the room couldn't help but ask her, her hands leaning on the door, her blonde hair tied into a pony tail, and her unicorn pyjamas etched on her body.

She scanned the entire room, "And what's up with the scattered clothes?"

Charlotte smile when she noticed her twin sister, "Oh, I was just deciding what to wear to the ball tomorrow"

"And what did you picked?" Cheyenne raised her brows, gazing suspiciously at her, she knew her twin sister too well.

"Nothing picks my interest" Charlotte sighed.

"Woah, really" Cheyenne pointed to a peach designed cloth that was laying on the floor, "but you never wore that before, I think it would look good on you"

"Ewww, I have no intention of wearing that, this is my only chance to shine and outstand others, why would I wear a cheap cloth?" Charlotte squeezed her face.

"But it cost $10,000, how is that cheap?" Cheyenne couldn't control her laughter as she let it all out, why would her sister call that cheap? she was introvert, so she didn't have to spend much money on clothes.

"Aren't you going to the ball tomorrow, you haven't decided what to wear" Charlotte asked her, clearly studying her.

"Yeah, I am not going" Cheyenne had a twisted expression.

"What? Why not?" Charlotte pointed her hand, "Don't tell me that you still love Jason?"

What other reason would her sister not go to the ball, aside from loving Jason? it all explains it all!

Jason was her best friend in high school, however he also was a rich CEO, but the thing was that, he rejected her countless of times, just saying that they were only friends and nothing else.

It has been two good years since she had seen him.

Cheyenne mood turned sour as she gazed else where, a hint of sadness flashed through her face, a sigh escaped her lips as she just stared blankly around.

Charlotte stood up from the bed, gently walking to her sister, it was easy to love someone, but it isn't easy to erase them away from your mind, that was the most hardest part.

Charlotte placed her right hand on her sisters shoulder.

"Don't stress your self, Cheyenne, the right guy would eventually come someday, I beg you, Jason isn't just the right guy for you"

Cheyenne crossed her hand over her shoulders, her eye turned a little misty, she sat on the bed and gazed at the ceiling.

"Is it my fault? Why dosen't he like me? what ever did I do, to deserve this torture?" Her throat was choked with tears as she stared blankly.

Charlotte's heart ached for her sister, was it wrong in loving someone? Was it?

"I am sorry, you are too innocent for all this" Charlotte embraced her sister, yes, her sister was innocent and her on the other hand was cruel.

Cheyanne blinked her eye lashes, trying her best to hold back her tears, she returned the hug in a warm way.

"Why don't we watch your favorite show? I am sure it will lighten up your mood a little" She smiled as she turned on the television.

Cheyanne smiled a little.

The two sisters were soon engrossed in the show, it was grand finale, the show they had been waiting for all the life, they smiled when the show came to end.

"I can't believe that the show has finally came to an end" Charlotte said with a smile.

"So can I, well good night, I have to go to ned now, I don't want to be late to work tomorrow" Cheyanne got up from the bed and kissed her sister good night. She then went to her room feeling tired.

When she was out of sight, Charlotte took out her phone and tracked the delivery of the dress she just ordered, when she saw the positive results she smiled to her self, she layed down to have a good night sleep.

She layed there for minutes but no sleep came, she stood up and went to the kitchen, she brought out a glass of milk and chugged it down her system.

She went to Cheyenne's room and opened the door gently, her face turned warm when she saw her sister sound asleep. It brought a smile to her face.

Still, she didn't understand why her sister never moved on, what was so special in the Jason anyway?

She then went back to her bedroom and layed on the bed, after minutes, darkness evolved her, as she closed her eye slowly, sleep tend to take over.
