It was past eight the night and Adrian was yet back. I couldn't eat because I was waiting for him. I might be angry with him but that doesn't mean my love for him has changed.

I was tempted to call his phone but refrained from doing so because I didn't want him to think I have forgiven him for his actions.

I tapped my feet on the floor while I sat on the bed, waiting for him to come.

The door opened and I lifted my head to see Adrian coming in.

"Where were you?" I asked, sounding concerned when I didn't plan to sound so.

"I went to the office," he said and I scoffed.

"I thought today was supposed to be for us and why did you go to the office without telling me?" I asked.

"I was going to tell you but you didn't want me to talk to you," he replied and I recalled the scene in the dressing room.
