Chapter 55

The door opened as William stood before Sophia. He was holding a gun pointed at her. Sophia's eyes widened. She gasped as she covered her mouth afterwards.

"William. What are you doing?" She said to him in shock. William cocked his gun as he entered inside. He walked straight to her as he pointed it at her. It was a short gun and so he raised it to her face as he pointed it to her forehead.

"Why were you lying? What is in that closet?" He said to her as he pointed to the closet. Sophia saw the composure he had while he held a gun to her. He looked like he had been doing that before. She on the other hand was trembling inwardly. She tried to steady her breathing. That was the first thing that would give her away.

"There is nothing in the closet. I wasn't lying. I simply lost the key. I thought of where I had kept it but I couldn't think of it and that was why I decided to lie. I am so sorry, William. Please, could you lower that thing?. Please. You're hurting me." She said to him as sh
