39. Ruin The Moment

"Are you alright?" asked Archi when Alea had just arrived at her apartment with a limp, her gaze also looked empty.

The woman threw her body onto the sofa, sat beside Alarik and Archi who had been busy playing while watching Alarik's favorite cartoon.

"Thanks Archi, sorry to bother you. You can go now," Alea said, not even looking at Archi or Alarik. She just stared straight at the television screen, but Archi knew that Alea was thinking about something else.

"I'm not going anywhere, Al. My client cancel an appointment today." Alea nodded her head while sighing roughly, she turned her attention and looked at the two boys who were playing beside her.

"Do you want to have breakfast here?" Alea offered, which Archi immediately agreed to, but when she was about to get up from her seat, Archi stopped her by holding Alea's arm.

"Al!" his call sounded rushed, Alea turned her head and looked at Archi's grip on her hand with confusion.
