Evelyn's pov

In a luxurious presidential suite.

The sunlight penetrated into her eyes. Evelyn Reed sat up, covering her face with one hand, trying to adjust her eyes to the light rays.

As she tried to get up a sharp pain sent her back to the King-size bed as she winced in pain. Before she could process the situation she noticed the numerous hickeys and love bites on her body and a masculine figure buried beneath the sheets.

Memories of the previous night came rushing back.

She had been out with her stepsister, Madison, alongside her friends in a bar; their table was packed with alcohol, but she had only juice because she had a low tolerance for alcohol. However, after only a few minutes, she suddenly felt hot and headed to the restroom to take control of her emotions. Suddenly, two rough-looking men barged in on her, and their greasy hands were roaming over her body; she was scared out of her wits. In her fit to escape, she kicked one of them in the crotch and made her way out, running with all her strength, but due to the uncomfortable feeling, she couldn't run far and rushed into a suite, locking the door behind her.

Her blurry eyes saw a man wearing a robe, and she clung to him desperately and whispered, 'Help me'

Coupled with the hotness in her body, they became completely unrestrained and did unspeakable things, and thinking about it made her face red in an instant.

Not wanting to be seen by the man, she ignored the pain in her lower body and wore her clothes, rushing out of the suite, when, unknowingly, her mother's jade pendant fell.

She didn't know the man she slept with was the richest and youngest billionaire in New York.

She had barely left the room when Logan Knight's eyes shot open and his sharp gaze pierced every corner of the suite. He noticed that the woman who had stumbled into his presidential suite the previous night had disappeared, which made him quite surprised that she hadn't waited for him and stuck to him like glue, after all, several women had tried to get into his bed but failed.

Then, his eyes caught sight of the blood stain on the grey sheets.

Tsk....... turns out she is a novice, no wonder she couldn't even kiss, and kept biting my lips the whole time. Logan said to himself.

He then discovered the jade pendant at the edge of the bed. After examining it, he took a picture and called his younger brother, Lucas Knight, who was probably rolling in bed with one of his girlfriends.

Lucas answered after a few rings.

Morning....brother, he muttered a greeting.

I'll send a picture, find the owner, and provide more information. Logan ordered icily.

But.... brother, I'm supposed to be off work for the next two days. Lucas complained painfully, he had planned to have fun with his new catch from the entertainment industry.

But Logan wasn't one to bargain. I give you three hours; I need the information real quick. He added coldly then hung up.

Lucas feared his brother the most and couldn't sit still. With their connection in N city, finding out information was simply a matter of issuing orders.

Lucas Knight jumped out of his bed and began dressing up. When a beautiful celebrity saw this, she immediately asked Lucas where he was going, but Lucas knew he couldn't accompany her, so he threw her a wad of cash before instructing her to leave.

The beautiful celebrity clearly looked displeased, but she knew she couldn't afford to offend this young master. Good thing he was generous with money; she took the money and blew him a kiss before leaving the room.

Whilst Lucas got dressed, he received the picture and wondered what the pendant had to do with his brother. He then sent the picture to his subordinates to begin the search.

Evelyn exited the taxi and paid the driver walking into the luxurious compound. The Reed family's villa was located in a high-end environment, and the residents of this environment were either A-list celebrities, politicians, or wealthy businesspeople.

The moment Evelyn entered the house she was slightly shocked at the sight, the whole family was staring deeply at her, her father, Marcus Reed's ferocious gaze that pierced through her body, her stepmother, Georgia sitting on the couch sipping tea like an elegant woman upon her arrival calmly placed the exquisite tea cup on the table her expression was as pretentious as ever.

Suddenly, my stepsister, Madison, rushed towards her, her eyes welled with tears.

Sister..... where have you been? I searched everywhere but didn't find you. My friends and I had to leave the hotel first...I was so worried about you. I thought something had happened. I couldn't even sleep all night. Did you not like our company? Why did you suddenly disappear?

Madison asked me sniffing like I had wronged her.

But before I could speak my father cut in, his voice as loud as it could ever be....

She was definitely screwing around with some wild men! How could I have such a daughter? He thundered.

Can't you be like your sister, or at least half like your sister, and stop causing me trouble? My father said as my stepmother quickly went to his side pretending to comfort him.

My mind went off for a second..... how did they know what happened last night, but before I could think of what to say my father threw a stack of pictures at my face, my eyes widened as I picked one off the floor.

It was a picture of me in bed with a man under the sheets with only my face visible, my hands trembling as I scrambled for what to say....

Th.... this is not me. I stammered but my father struck me hard on the face, my head spun, and I could swear I saw stars.

You slut, he thundered. I won't let you drag the prestigious name of this mud!

Sign this... he said, shoving a paper into my hand.
