The soft sound of the ocean waves was the only thing I could hear. The sun was setting, and everything around me looked golden and calm. I stood by the edge of the yacht, letting the breeze run through my hair as I looked out at the view that was before me. The air felt fresh, and for the first time in a while, everything felt peaceful.

Leon came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He rested his chin on my shoulder and placed soft kisses there, making my heart feel full.

“How are you feeling, my love?” he asked softly, his voice filled with warmth, causing a smile to spread across my face at the warmth of his voice

“Light and free” I said simply, telling him exactly how I felt.

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Jennifer POV II

Just like that I was locked up in a cell for days on end, they refused to grant me bail when I spoke to the police chief he made it known that there was nothing he could do and the bunch of lawyers I hired kept saying there was no way I could get out of it free, the evidence was not only concrete it was all over the press. If only I had seen that, I would have fled the country or found a way to get out of it, but I was caught red-handed and thrown behind bars with no regard. My shouts and threats shook no one, they all stared me down while laughing in my face.I was fucking helpless and I knew well enough who was behind it. If only I had taken care of him all those years ago, along with his pathetic mother, I wouldn’t be stuck in the mess I found myself in. That was the only thing I could find myself doing, reminiscing about what I could have done differently. All I really needed to do was to find a way to get out of fucking prison and end the son of a bitch with my own hands.“Hey, g

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Jennifer POV I

JENNIFER It was just like every other day, nothing special. The only difference was that I was still nursing the sting of defeat, the shame of losing to Leon, even after all the things I did to get rid of him. I had tried so hard, fought in every way I could, but in the end, none of it worked. Still, that didn’t mean life was over.I wiped my hands clean of Ryan and anything that had to do with him. I didn’t want to be tied to his failure. He was a mess, and I wasn’t going to let him drag me down with him. I reminded myself that I was still the wife of Kane Valois, the founder of Valois Group. That title meant something. It carried weight and power, and no one could take that away from me, not even Leon. My plan was simple now just to walk in that name, carry it with pride, and leave Ryan far behind. He wasn’t worth the headache anymore. Just like his father always said, Ryan would never amount to anything. I spent so many years trying to prove Kane wrong, trying to shape Ryan into

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Amarie POV II

I rushed behind Kayla, taking a hold of her hand, but she yanked it away roughly and continued walking away“Honey, please,” I begged, rushing to stand in front of her“I don't want to hear anything let me fucking be” she hissed“Please, Kayla I can explain” I begged“Explain?” she scoffed“What could you possibly explain? You are a liar and a manipulator” she hissed“I am your mother” I sobbed“You are dead to me and I never want to have anything to do with you” she shoved me hard, almost making me fall to the ground before I caught myself“I didn't do anything wrong to you, I have never treated you badly!” I shouted after her“Every damn thing is your fault, not only did you come into my fathers life to use him. You birthed that evil bitch that ruined our lives and took everything from us” she cried as she spoke“It was my past, I made a mistake, I know but we have to stick together, I am still your mother,” I told her “Stop it! Stop! Fucking stop!” she screamed yanking her hair ti

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Amarie POV I

AMARIEI was in the middle of trying to reason with Kayla when the call came in. A lot has been going on and the fact that I saw it coming but no one took my words for it now it has blown up in our face and I am still the only one having to run around trying to pay the bills and lawyer fees, I went on my both knees in front of my in-laws people that loathe me for getting married to their son but I went to them regardless to ask for help that was how helpless I was. They of course, reminded me how I was no good for their son, and if he had gotten married to a woman from a rich family, we wouldn’t be as stranded as we were and sadly enough they weren’t wrong.I have sold every penny left to my name and have even incurred debts in the process. Was anything even worth fighting for anymore? After paying exorbitant fees to expensive ass lawyers there was no assurance that my husband would go free without having to serve jail time. Kayla refused to be helpful, she chose to lie in bed all day

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Kayla POV(bonus chapter)

KAYLA I couldn’t help it but rush after her as she rushed out of the house with so much urgency, something fishy was going on, and I needed to find out what it was about. I walked a few feet behind her and waited until she got into a cab before I did the same“Follow that cab,” I said to the driver as I slipped into the car“Where are you headed?” He asked like he was fucking deaf or something“I said follow the damn cab in front of you if you lose them it is over for you” I hissed not bothering look at his face“Go, go, go,” I hit the car seat angrily before he started to drive closely behind the cab my mom got intoAfter a long drive, the cab kept driving further and further into the city, At some point, it felt like we were just circling the same spot, but then finally it came to a stop in front of a hospital, which was really odd. I watched her get out of the car and into the hospital before I did the same“Hey! Where is my money!” The cab driver's voice called me back“Shit” I c

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Over

RYANThe taste of bitter powder still lingered on my tongue, mixing with the metallic flavor of blood from where I’d bitten the inside of my cheek. I didn’t even know how long I had been lying there, curled up on the same dusty couch in that dark apartment, the air thick with smoke and the stench of liquor. The curtains were drawn shut, blocking out the sun, or maybe it was already night again. Time had stopped meaning anything. My head was spinning. I’d taken too much this time, too many pills, too much alcohol. But I didn’t care. I didn’t want to feel anything not shame, not the loss or the rage that burned deep within me.I tried to stand but a wincing headache rushed through my spine causing me to fall on the couch, I let out a groan and took a big gulp of the bottle of whiskey in my hand before reaching for my phone. The brightness of the phone almost knocked me out, it was past two in the afternoon. I was scrolling through the notifications when I saw something that caught my ey

NAYAWhen I opened my eyes, the room was quiet except for Leon and Nick’s voices. They were speaking in low tones like they didn’t want to disturb me. I didn’t catch everything they were saying at first, but when I listened a little more, I heard them mention something about a video and the press.“What’s going on?” I asked, my voice still a bit weak.Leon quickly rushed to my side. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to wake you,” he said gently.“You didn’t,” I replied, shaking my head slowly. My eyes landed on the laptop screen, and I noticed a video was paused. “What’s that?” I asked, pointing to it.Leon’s eyes followed mine. “I should go get the doctor to check you,” he said quickly, trying to change the subject.“Don’t do that, I am fine” I said firmly. “Just tell me what’s going on this time, Leon,” I told him He hesitated for a moment. “It’s Jennifer,” he said finally, and my eyes widened.“What? Did she try something again?” I asked, suddenly alert“No, nothing like that,” he answe

  • Married to the Disable Billionaire    Last Laugh

LEONThe anger in her voice was very loud and clear, I had never seen her like that it was like watching a different person but in a good way. Although it happened at a rough time she had the last laugh and it was so satisfying to watch. Their faces as they watch every word come out of her mouth, they must have forgotten she wasn’t the same girl they taunted and trampled on. They thought her words were just her bluffing because they thought she was weak and there was nothing she could do to them. And she showed them, they didn’t know how much she gave her all into making sure she brings them to their downfall, how persistent she was during that period was what drew me to her. I was so proud of her because she fought that battle against them and she won after they laughed in her face repeatedly, now it was left to them to waste away wishing they could go back in time and not get on her wrong side. She laid in bed and just stared at the ceiling without uttering a word and I sat beside h
