The pitch black darkness around me slowly dissolved into a bright white spectrum of light as I slowly opened my eyes.

My head stung, and my brain felt as though it would split into two equal halves.

I could not remember anything that had happened minutes earlier, but I had a feeling I was being pulled against my will to go somewhere…

My dim eyes scanned the room around me.

Here! I had been picked up from the ground, thrown into a car, and then kept here!

It was at that moment I realized I had been laid down on a bed. I sprang up immediately, beads of sweat rushing down my face and neck, despite the air conditioner mounted in the room.

I did not know where I was, but it was definitely a rich person's bedroom.
