We were still in the living room. Even though we already had dinner and should be preparing for bed but for some reason, we were still in the living room.

For me, it was because I was waiting for the videos from Jamie but I don't know the reason the two of them are still here. I had a feeling they were waiting for me but I couldn't be sure.

The Father and daughter duo were snuggled up in a corner of the couch, quietly watching a movie but I noticed Maria's eyes drooping, poor baby should be tucked in bed by this time.

I thought back to when Damien had told her about her tutor not coming to teach her any longer. Maria had simply asked if there would be another person and he had told her he'll pick a better tutor for her. She hadn't complained. Seems she had no special feelings for the woman.

"You should take Maria to sleep, it's way past her bed time" I told him, his eyes moved to me before looking at the sleepy girl on his lap.
