        Melvin's pov

“You have no right to question my decision, “he said still pointing the gun at me

I smiled and scoff at the same time” go-ahead, shoot me”

He started at me with his eyes red like burning fire

He turned around and dropped the gun and I just stood there staring at him, I guess he knows, am as stubborn as he is, so he would do well to tell me his reasons

But to my surprise, he called the guards

“Guards!!!!!!!” he called out in fury. The door threw  open and Adam and two other guards came running to him

    

“Take him out of my room and lock him up in the dungeon and make sure he doesn't eat anything

I wasn't surprised I knew he was that cruel but I also didn't stop talking

“Let go of me “I screamed at the guards but dey were carrying out the boss's order”

“I will make you pay for this, one scratch on Zaki, and I will have you all burnt up” I threatened

He stared at me and his lips covered into a deadly smile

Princess Zaki’s pov

I layed on my bed as the thought of Nathan's birthday played in my head I picked up my phone and searched for something new and breathtaking

I want this birthday to be his most memorable birthday

I googled on how to send pleasant love messages to him.

Nathan and u have been in a relationship for 11 months now, soon we would have our first Anniversary of being in a relationship we both haven't had sex and I'm so grateful he is willing to wait.

My phone started ringing and when I check the caller it was Nathan

Talk of the devil. I hesitated before picking the call I was staring at the filters I used in saving his contact finally I picked up the call before it ended

“Hi baby girl @ Nathan greeted from the other end I smiled seductively as if he could see me

“Hi big head baby,” I said with a light chuckle

“How are you doing baby,” he asked in his cute seductive voice

“am doing fine” I replied and smile shyly to myself

“I will come and see you in school on Monday , have really been missing you “he said and I bit my lower lips.

“I have lost of gist for you, but u will wait till Monday,” I said and he laughed.

“Okay baby girl talk to you later honey, I love you “

“I love you too baby” I replied before hanging up

I dropped the phone on the bed and heaved a huge sigh

Nathan is the best thing that has ever happened to me, he is always willing to listen to my home and most times to locate the silly me.

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door I checked my phone and it was time for my rehearsal

“Not again” I muttered and screamed out loud

“Go away “ shouted and laid down like I was sleeping

A light sound clouded the room indicating that my password has been input and the door is currently opening

I tossed angrily on the bed before turning to yell at her but when I turned, surprisingly for me it was mum.....and dad

I used my eyes to tease my eyes, it was really surprising seeing my father in my room, I felt so happy, so happy that he is here to see me now and probably wants to make amend and

“Good afternoon mummy, Good afternoon daddy” I greeted them with a bow mummy replied but daddy didn’t say shit to me I felt so bad cause that wasn't what I was expecting

I noticed mums eyes were red and she was struggling to drag her legs I started at her looking so perplexed mum stared at daddy and stared back at me

Mum walked faintly, dragging her legs close to me

She held my hand and sat down with me on the bed her eyes were all wet I stared at her and wondered what the problem is

She started at day and stared at me again.

“Your father and I have something important to tell you, trust me when I say we really do care about you”she said and tears rolled down her cheeks .now this is getting really serious, what is wrong with my mummy

She stared at me and stared at my father and then averted her gaze to me again

I stared at my father because I felt like he had something to say

He walked closer to us, looking really strong his face was completely devoid of emotions

“We are here to inform you that......he paused and sighs more like he was keeping me in suspense

“To inform you that you will no longer be living with us in this mansion again”

I smiled ridiculously, I know am not supposed to smile but I don't understand what they are both saying

“Living the house,” I asked, still bewildered

“Aint you both, my biological parent, “I asked with my eyes opened .

Mum threw stares countlessly at daddy

“You will be getting married.........”he finally voiced out

I started at him for a long time and laughed I laughed stupidly before it dawned on me that he was talking about marriage.the words echoed twice in my ear,

“Who is getting married and to who ?” I asked sarcastically

“You are getting married to the king of MAFIA” Daddy replied confidently.

Okay, now thanks to the bed I would have fainted

My head spine and my kneel went numb instantly are they sure this news is for me

“Are you sure this news is for me?” I asked my mummy age stared at my father and busted into tears

“The maids will be here to arrange your stuff we will be sending your luggage there before your wedding, “he said without sympathy he held mum by the wrist and dragged her with me

I cried and cried calling out to Mummy

I stared at them as dey both approached the door .just as he made for the handle of the door I called back their attention

“Daddy I have someone I love”.
