(Victoria’s P.O.V.)
While I wait for Dimitri to come back, I can’t stop thinking about Luca’s kiss. I can’t believe a stolen kiss is going to ruin my marriage and probably my entire life. It is not fair that this is happening to me! I don’t even want to kiss Lucas ever again. Lucas was a big part of my past, I was crazy about him for so long but that was before. Now my feelings have changed, I don’t entirely understand why, but whatever I felt for Lucas pales in comparison to what Dimitri makes me feel. Right now, I am disappointed in Dimitri because he denied me the chance to explain the situation to him, but deep down my heart longs for him to reconsider, I’m certain I will forgive him in the blink of an eye if he apologizes and gives me a chance to explain myself.

It is been a week since I received the news of my family’s demise. I can’t still wrap my head around the idea that I am never going to see them again.
