26. Luna's Mind

Jane just sat sweetly accompanying Eros who was drinking in one of the elite bars in Jakarta. The man felt frustrated after the rejection Luna gave him. He had indeed prepared himself beforehand, if only Luna knew his feelings, then rejected him. It wasn't the girl's refusal that bothered him, but the disappointed look Luna gave him.

"She gave me a choice. Should I choose to keep this feeling, or save our friendship," Eros said slowly.

Jane knew very well if the man was drunk.

"It's better to throw away your feelings than throw away your friendship! I know, there's nothing wrong with your feelings. You have the right to love anyone. But Eros, think about what will happen if you keep fighting for your love. Luna could just leave, you will lose Luna forever." Jane said without looking at Eros.

"Why do you think Luna will leave? Can't I secretly like her? We can still be friends as usual!" protested Eros.

Jane turned to the man and chuckled sarcastically.
