Chapter 7

Adrianna was standing on the street alone, waiting for a taxi. She only have her wallet and phone with her. She's planning to disobey her mom because she badly wants to get back in London for the next fashion show. 

She texted her mom that she's on her way back to them, and her mom said that she'll send someone to pick her up, that's why she quickly ride a taxi that stopped in front of her.

"To the airport, please." She said to the driver. "Please drive faster." She added, and the driver just nodded.

She needs to get there as soon as possible, she needs to be there before the plane take off.

While on her way to the airport, her phone rang, and her mother's contact number popped up on her phone screen. It took a second before she answered the call, she was stuck between 'should I answer?' and 'should I decline it?'. But she still answered the call.

"Mom?" She asked.

"Where are you, Adrianna?" She got anxious for a second because of her mother's voice, she sounds so serious.

"I... Ahm... I-I'm on my way back to you and dad." She responded while stuttering.

"How?" Her mom asked her, making her confused.

"Mom?" She asked back to her mom.

"How are you gonna go back to us if you don't even know where we are?" Her mom asked her, making her more anxious.

"Ahm... Yeah, right. Where are you and dad again?" She asked.

She heard her mom sighed before speaking, "Stay where you are right now and my driver will pick ypu up. Where are you exactly?"

"I-I'm in... Where am I... I-I don't know this place..." Adrianna said. She's not familiar with the places in France, she only knows paris, and she doesn't even know any place in paris, because all her life, she had her driver with her anywhere she goes.

"Any shops around you?" Her mom asked.

"Ahm... T-there's ahm..." She stopped speaking for a second and roamed her eyes around. "I'm near a shop called Lewis Watches." She said.

She thinks that even if she tell her mom a shop around her right now, her mom won't think that she's going to the airport.

"Ok, stay there, my driver is coming to pick you up. Do you understand?"

"Y-yes, m-mom..." She said and immediately ended the call.

Adrianna's anxiousness went gone when she saw the airport. While approaching the airport, she felt relieved that she just came in time.

10 in the evening is her flight, and it's just 9pm. She can still run after the take off time of the plane.

While they are getting nearer and nearer to the airport, she noticed two cars are after them.

"Can you please drive more faster?" She asked the driver, and good thing that the driver managed to drive her to the airport immediately.

When she got off the taxi, she smiled as if her plan was successful. Not until two men grabbed her both arms, one of them covered her mouth and nose with a handkerchief. She was so confused when she suddenly felt so dizzy and sleepy. She tried to fight the sleepiness that she's feeling and she's trying not to close her eyes, but she can not fight it. She saw people around them looking at them as if they are in a shoot of a movie before she finally closed her eyes and lost her consciousness.

Adrianna woke up in an unfamiliar room. She tried to recognize it but she can't. She's lying on a white, soft bed. Around her was just a bed side table and one big cabinet, there are also two doors that she believe that one is the restroom and the other one is the way out of the room, but she doesn't know which is which.

She thought that she was kidnapped by her crazy male fans, because a lot of her male fans are so crazy about her.

Se got scared by what she's thinking. She started to observe herself, but nothing is wrong about her body, she has no wounds not bruises, her lower part of her body doesn't seem to hurt. She felt relieved that she wasn't raped.

She was still observing herself when she got startled because of the door. The door opened and a man went in her room with a tray of food. She got more shocked when it was her dad.

"Dad?" She asked confused.

"You tried to run away from us, you even disobeyed your mother. She so mad. Goodluck." Her dad said and put the tray on the bed. "Eat your breakfast here before you go out."

"Breakfast?" She's still confused.

"Yes, breakfast. You slept too long, sweety." Her dad said and chuckled.

"Where are we?" She asked her dad.

"We're at a hotel. Your mom and I are staying here for 3 days already because of our work here." Her dad explained, and she just nodded. "Now, eat your breakfast before it gets cold. I'll be outside with your dragon mom, she's so mad that her nose is already smoking like a dragon." Her dad said that made her laugh.

"Thanks, dad." She said and smiled.

"Goodluck, you're so hardheaded. Tsk, tsk, tsk." Her dad said and stepped out the room.

She just sighed and ate her food quickly. After that she's thinking if she will step out of her room to see her mom or she will just stay on that room to avoid her mom who's mad at her right now.

After minutes of thinking, she chose to step out of the room and face her mom.

She was so scared as she open the door. She saw her mom and dad busy with their laptop.

"Hey, mom." She said.

"Why did you do that?" Her mom asked her without looking at her.

At first, she doesn't know what her mom is talking about, but she remembered what happened last night.

"Mom, that's one of my biggest dreams!---" she didn't finished what she was saying because her mom cut her off.

"I've been supporting you for all of your dreams, Adrianna! And I only asked you to stay just for once! Just for once, Adrianna! And you can't do that!?" Her mom shouted.

"Calm down, Rebecca. Calm down." Her dad calmed her mom.

"I'm so disappointed with you!" Her mom shouted out of anger and disappontment.

"And I'm disappointed with you too, mom!" She shouted and went back to her room.

She lovked the door, sat on the floor behind it, and cried.
