Tyler’s POV

Nurse Mirabel grabbed my wrist immediately, as if she could see right through me—see the weakness buried deep inside. I had only just managed to struggle to the door before collapsing inward. She caught me with the precision of someone who had been waiting for this moment.

She took my cell phone from my hand again and gently guided me back to the bed, making sure I lay flat. Without hesitation, she inserted the machine cord back into place like it was second nature.

Then, calmly, she walked over to the wall and switched off the alert system, flagging it as a false call. She picked up a piece of paper from the counter, scribbled something down, her eyes flicking to the machine’s screen.

“Your blood pressure is rising, Mr. Cooper,” she said, her tone stern but her face warm with a professional smile. “If this continues, it will disallow us from discharging you when we’re supposed to. So, please get enough rest and stop overthinking.”

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 61 At The Hospital

Lola’s POV (Present Time)I arrived at the hospital and slipped out of Tyler’s car, my heels clicking against the paved driveway. The automatic doors slid open with a faint whoosh as I walked through the entrance of Green Valley Medical Center. The scent of antiseptic filled the air, sterile and suffocating.“Hi!” I greeted the receptionist at the front desk. She glanced up, recognition flashing across her face. “Oh! Welcome, Mrs. Cooper,” she said with a polite smile. Her fingers didn’t stop flying across the keyboard—clearly, I’d interrupted her in the middle of a task. “Are you here for Mr. Cooper?”“Yes,” I returned her smile, trying to keep my voice warm and casual. “He was supposed to be discharged earlier today, but I got caught up in something.” I chuckled awkwardly, knowing I’d just told a bold-faced lie.The truth? I hadn’t been “caught up” in anything. I was nearly over an hour away from Green City, screaming Logan’s name and getting railed like a depraved adult film star.

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 60 Attoney Smart And Tyler.

Tyler’s POVI sat behind the table at The Buns Cake, a fast food spot that sold cakes, pies, and burgers. The seating was all arranged outdoors, which gave the place a casual, open-air vibe.I had arrived before Attorney Smart, and for now, I was the only person there aside from the waiters and the chef who was busy inside.“What would you like to order, sir?” one of the waiters asked. She was a young lady dressed in a crisp white apron uniform and had a gentle smile on her face as she approached.I knew fully well I couldn’t just sit here and talk with Attorney Smart without buying anything. That would be rude—and suspicious.I smiled politely. “Can you wait a moment for me to order, please? I’m expecting someone.”“Of course,” she said, bowing respectfully before walking away with a courteous smile. Not long after that, Attorney Smart arrived. I saw him driving slowly into the parking area from a distance. His SUV—a black Cadillac—was something I recognized like the back of my hand.

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 58 Make Her Pay

Lola’s POVI clenched my fist and frowned as I continued to walk barefooted, frantically closing the distance between us.She stared at me, perplexed, probably wondering why I was marching toward her without shoes. But if only she knew the storm brewing inside me…It’s been two years since I moved into this neighborhood in Tyler’s home. Since then, I’ve heard endless gossip about Mrs. Highlander. They said she was a lonely troublemaker—someone her children had all run away from because she was toxic and believed she was always right.Because of this, she earned the title "the eagle of the street." She seemed to know everything happening on our block. She had a chair by her window and a microscope she shamelessly used to zoom into people’s homes whenever she got bored or craved gossip.People like her always rubbed me the wrong way. And even though she had saved my daughter from who-knows-what today, she crossed a line when she dialed the police.“Slap!” A heavy, reverberating slap lan

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 57 Two Days

Lola’s POVDays chameleoned into night, and night slowly changed its apparel into morning. Two days straight had passed—two whole days without any remorse, without lingering thoughts about anyone else. I’d been here, with Logan, with white ice, blunt, and his mighty dick.He fucked me in and out, and out again, and with every thrust, the only thing that crossed my mind every now and then was him—him inside me.We were just about to leave to get some food from the fast-food place down the block when my phone began buzzing furiously, like someone urgently needed my attention.I pulled it out from my pocket and glanced at the screen.“A strange number,” I muttered, knowing full well this number didn’t look like one from a cell phone. It looked like a landline number. And from my experience, numbers like this usually belonged to corporations or companies. But which company could be calling me at this hour?Suddenly, my heart slammed into a pool of racing thoughts. Jasmine. I’d left her al

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 56 The Done Deal

Lola’s POVI inhaled the first line and tilted my head back, letting the rush hit me. It did something in me. Something even words could not attempt to explain. Something marvelous—so intoxicating that I just wanted to inhale another line and feel that highness pulse through me again, deep in my bones.“You miss it, huh?” Logan smirked the moment he saw how I reacted.I didn’t say anything. I just nodded rapidly—like Tom from a cartoon, nodding furiously when offered a bowl of milk. That was me. Eager. Unashamed. He smirked again, this time slower. Like he already knew what would happen next. Then, without a word, he extended his hand to me.“Go on. Inhale this line. It’s mixed with blint. It'll make you feel different—higher than ordinary white ice,” he murmured, pulling my head gently toward a particular line on the shelf.I didn’t resist. I let him guide me. And then I inhaled.Immediately, I tapped my head rapidly with my fingers, as if trying to process the wave that surged throu

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 55 The Fast Food

Lola’s POVI breathed out deeply as I watched Logan slide into the driver’s seat. A strange tension floated in the air, and I wasn’t sure if it came from him or from the memories that threatened to resurface. I walked toward the front passenger seat, opened the door, and slid in without a word.“Where to now?” I asked him, keeping my voice calm despite the uncertainty swirling inside me.But he just smiled—that same mischievous, knowing smile—and said nothing. He released the handbrake, turned the wheel, shifted the gear into reverse, and accelerated backward until we merged onto the road. The silence between us wasn’t awkward—it was heavy, almost like it had meaning. After a journey that stretched over an hour, we finally arrived at a local fast food restaurant far away from the shores of Green City. I looked around. This place was unfamiliar, detached from everything I knew. I had never been anywhere near here before. I didn’t know anyone around, and the distance made me wonder what

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 54 Logan and Lola

Lola’s POV For someone like me, Logan’s whereabouts were never truly a mystery—especially when he wanted to be found. His patterns were always the same. Predictable. Calculated. And even though this wasn’t Philadelphia, and we were now in Green City, none of that mattered. Logan always had a way of finding a hideout that no one else could uncover—no one except those who truly knew him. People like me.I sat in the driver’s seat, hands gripping the wheel as I closed my eyes, trying to picture every secluded place nearby that could serve as a potential hideout. Logan never hid at random. He hid where only those closest to him would think to look.As I mentally retraced our path into this part of the city, one image lingered: the overhead bridge near our street. I remembered the murky waters beneath it. Rumors said the water wasn’t deep, but years ago, a teenage girl had fallen off while playing too close to the edge. They said she died before help arrived—before 911 could even be diale

  • Marrying The Billionaire Who Healed Me   Chapter 53 What She Has Been Doing?

Lola’s POVThe hallway was dim and quiet, save for the soft creaking of the wooden floor beneath my steps as I carried Jasmine toward her room. She was still snoring loudly in my arms, her tiny fingers curled loosely around my shirt. I wanted to lay her down gently and tiptoe away without a sound—but Logan had other plans. He stepped directly into my path.He stood there—firm, imposing—with his arms crossed. I stopped immediately, clutching Jasmine tighter to my chest. The way he looked at me wasn’t just about seeing me. It was about control.“And where do you think you’re going when you haven’t come to see me like you promised?” he said, frowning. Then slowly, deliberately, he raised his hand and traced a finger down the side of my face. There was a teasing lilt in his voice, but his eyes were dead serious. I recognized that look. I’d seen it before—right before he did something monstrous.A chill ran down my spine as a memory hit me like a flash grenade. We had just made love in our
