Charlotte’s POV

I closed my eyes and said, “I can’t do this,”

He released his grip on my arm and was breathing so heavily that he tried to exert enough self-control to avoid touching me. His eyes were filled with shame, and he looked so disgusted with himself for doing this to me. He took a few steps backward while muttering angry curses. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

“I’m sorry—I can’t!” I tried to talk to him, but he just ignored me.

He walked to the kitchen, and opened the refrigerator, grabbed a bottle of water and drank it then threw it against the wall angrily. Then he glanced at me, and said, “Just sleep.”

He picked up his phone, and I asked, “But where are you going?”

"It's none of your business." He walked away without glancing back at me, and then I heard the door being locked outside. Did he lock me inside his condo?

I tapped the door and tried to open it, but it was not locked, and I sighed in relief. Then he saw me in the hallway as he was heading to the elevator, and he went
