Henry’s POV.

“What is taking her so long?” I grunted out loud, checking my watch. Amara had just an hour to find her way to the airport as I had instructed and she was taking forever.

“Have you contacted her?” I asked my assistant who sat with me in the car.

“Yes sir and she mentioned they were close by.”

“How long has it been since you contacted her? We are running out of time.”

“It's been over twenty minutes now, sir,” he replied, causing my temper to flare.

“Then contact her again. Twenty minutes is a lot of time for her not to have gotten here already if she was that close by?” I fussed wondering if Amara had changed her mind.

My assistant was about to contact her when his car came into view, stopping beside me. I sigh in relief as she comes out of her car, heading towards me with her driver helping her with her luggage. I opened my car door, put on sunglasses over my face, and came out to meet her.

The air outside was humid but calm as we stood near the gate, waiting for final bo

Sylvester’s POV.I barely remembered the last time I had a full night of sleep. My penthouse was starting to feel less like home and more like a prison cell with scattered papers, code files, and empty coffee cups marking the days that passed. The walls were quiet, but my mind wasn’t. The only thing keeping me going was the thought of the launch. The automatic car project was no longer just a shot in the dark—it was real, tangible, and close. I could almost feel the steering wheel in my hands, hear the silence of the engine running on its own intelligence. It was all I thought about, all I cared about. The board had stopped being patient even after I told them I was working on something that would turn things around. They wanted results, numbers, and proof that I still deserved to sit where I sat. I knew I had to deliver. There was no room for failure. I had already mortgaged one of my properties, emptied out every backup fund, and poured everything I had left into this. It wasn’t

Josh’s POV.I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the phone in my hand, my jaw clenched tight. The room was dim, lit only by the glow of my laptop screen. I had thought Natasha would panic when she saw those photos. I had imagined her pacing in tears, confronting Sylvester, maybe even leaving him. I had expected her to be broken, to come running to me for answers, for help, or protection. Instead, she sent back a threat and didn't fall for my schemes. It stung more than I expected. I had put in effort, real effort to edit photos, to make it look real, come up with something that would leave any wife unsettled but Natasha had simply brushed it off.So, I sat there, stewing in my own anger, replaying her message again and again. She had always been too trusting. Even when we were dating, she saw the good in everyone. It used to be sweet. Now it was annoying. If the photos didn’t work, I needed something more. Something undeniable. Something she couldn’t explain away or forgive. I ne

Jenna’s POV.I stood outside Sylvester’s office with two takeout boxes in hand, the smell of stir-fried noodles mixing with the faint scent of disinfectant that always lingered in the hallway. My fingers were starting to ache from how tightly I had been gripping the food. I wasn’t sure why I was so nervous. This wasn’t new. I had brought him dinner almost every night for the past two weeks. It had become a routine neither of us talked about. But today felt different. Or maybe I just couldn’t keep pretending it didn’t.I nudged the door open without knocking. He didn’t look up, but I knew he heard me. The soft clink of his pen against the desk stopped for a second before starting again. His jacket was slung across the back of the chair, and the sleeves of his shirt were rolled up, like always. His hair looked a little messy, like he had been raking his hands through it all day.“You’ve been here since eight,” I said, closing the door behind me. “Have you even eaten?”He didn’t answe

  • Marrying The Domineering Billionaire In My Sister’s Place   CHAPTER 102.

Natasha’s POV.I didn’t sleep well.My eyes had barely shut before my thoughts dragged me into a strange dream. In it, Sylvester and that woman—Jenna—stood together in a room I didn't recognize, whispering in a language I couldn’t understand. When I called his name, he turned, but his face was unreadable, like he didn’t know me. Jenna smiled at him, then turned to me and said, “He was never yours.”I woke up with a jolt. My pillow was damp. I wasn't sure if it was from sweat or tears. The room was quiet, too quiet, and the side of the bed beside me remained untouched. That dream stayed with me longer than I expected. I couldn't shake the feeling that it meant something. I sat on the edge of the bed for a while, trying to convince myself it was just my mind reacting to everything lately. The messages, the photos, the way Sylvester had been distant, all of it had pushed me into this state of constant unease. I didn’t want to believe any of it, but my heart no longer felt steady. The ph

Natasha’s POV.I had been holding myself together with the thinnest thread of hope.Every morning I woke up in our bedroom alone, I told myself it was because Sylvester was working hard. Every time I heard the front door close just minutes after he arrived, I convinced myself he was under pressure, trying to save the company. But even those quiet reassurances were beginning to lose their strength. It was starting to feel like I was the only one still trying. He barely came home anymore. And when he did, it felt like he was only stopping by. He said little, ate nothing, or barely looked at me.I started to wonder if he even noticed I no longer wore my rings. I had taken them over a month ago, hoping he would say something, anything. But he hadn’t. Not once. The silence between us was beginning to feel like a third person living in the house. That weekend, I went to the club with Anna. I needed to see a familiar face, someone who would listen and not give me cold reassurances that so

Sylvester’s POV.I moved everything to the penthouse two days ago. I needed the quiet, the solitude, the space to think clearly without distractions or uninvited eyes. The new project—the automatic car—was too important and delicate. It was the only thing left that could pull everything back from the edge. My company was bleeding out. I didn’t have investors willing to take risks anymore. And honestly, I couldn’t blame them. I had made decisions in the past that I wasn’t proud of. This time, if it was going to work, it had to be my way. Quiet. Clean. Undisturbed. The penthouse was calm. High above the city noise. I could look out through the floor-to-ceiling windows and feel something close to clarity. There were papers spread everywhere, handwritten notes, sketches, and a few laptops running simulations and test models. It wasn’t perfect. But it was mine. And it was beginning to look like something real. That evening, while working, my doorbell rang. I wasn't expecting anyone, n
