9.Finding a place

Rose sneaked into the room. She saw her father sleeping soundly only wrapped in a thin damp cloth, while Dulce hugged Kenzie in the narrow bed. Rose wiped the remnants of the tears still reminiscing on her face, and she decided to calm down in the bathroom.

There was no warm water in the tiny bathroom and the smell from the slightly clogged toilet stung Rose's nostrils. The corners of the bathroom floor looked yellowed and the drains were rusty and full of hair loss. There was water seepage on the roof and walls of the narrow room.

"I have to get them all out of this inn," Rose muttered.

Rose tied her shoulder-length black hair up and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Sadness is very, very clearly visible there, a sense of despair and tiredness mixed into one. That beautiful face looked very miserable.
