Smith drove through the gates of the Hernandez mansion, pulling to a stop beside a car I recognized as Colton's and Victoria's.

Of course, they were already there.

The Hernandez was having a family dinner and they invited us to join them for a friendly dinner. It wasn't in my interest to attend but they were friends with my parents, thus the friendship between Zoe and me.

I alighted from the car and made my way to the door. I rang the doorbell. Minutes later, the butler opened the door, letting me in. Stepping into the living room, I heard a light chatter coming from the dining area. My gaze traveled there to see they were all there. Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez, Zoe and Colton, and Victoria.

"He finally made it". Colton announced when he spotted me, drawing everyone's attention to me.

I strode to them and greeted Colton and Victoria, pulling her into an embrace. I shook hands with Mr. Hernandez, Mrs. Hernandez pulled me into a hug and so did Zoe who even went an extra mile by placi
