[ Last Year | Boston ]

William's mind had not been clear since leaving Ireland, even until he arrived in his hometown. He was overcome with guilt. Mainly because his mother was so angry and threw the blame at him. He didn't go to his house first to at least put things away but headed straight to the hospital.

William couldn’t bring himself to enter the room right away. Instead, he was standing out there for a while before finally getting a hold of himself.

As soon as he felt calm enough, he stepped inside. In an instant, a look full of dismay welcomed him in silence. While Rose’s parents looked away, William’s mom approached him and squeezed his hand strongly. Needless to say, they were all disappointed in him.
