Chapter 20: Different

"Our Alpha has always been straight to the point and vicious when need be, that's why he is our Alpha."  Janessa says to me before putting down the pups for their naps. 

"When you became luna, he seemed to change for a while, but now he is his same old self.  He can rip out an adversaries throat in a flash and never think about it twice or torture a rogue for information, because he is just ruthless to the core."  

I watch as she has them all lay down on cushions and then I say, "I never knew him just of him growing up, because my parents kept to themselves mostly.  I was always the outcast because everyone had heard how my parents were rogues before coming here and they killed one of their old pack.  It was a mistake of course, because they didn't do it."
