I can hear the blood rushing through my ears as I shake his body, waiting for a sign that he is okay. I see that he is still breathing, his chest is moving steadily so it leads me to believe that he is only unconscious, nothing else.
But still, I don't know what is going on with him. He was fine when we came back, so what went wrong. Did the curse get him, is it killing him slowly right now? Is he going to die.
My wolf whines in my head, reprimanding me for thinking like that. Even though she doesn't speak I am able to know that she is anxious about this situation too.
Not knowing what else to do, I decide to take him to his room. It takes a while before I can get him there, to be honest, I don't really know where his room is. I just follow my nose and track the place that his scent is more intense.
My anxiety slowly fades away when I remember who he is. A god. And he won't let this flimsy curse end him, right? No, he can't or I'll torture him.
