Back home in New York City, Serah was having a hard time as she tried to stop thinking about Brian. She knew it was a foolish thing to do as he was her mate, he was bound to her just as she was to him.
"Damn you Brian for making me feel this way", she muttered.
Just then, there was a loud crack at the far corner of the house. Serah stilled as she trained her ears towards the direction of the sound as she tried to listen for clues that would help her determine who it was.

Up ahead, there was a barricade and Brian knew it was demons. He was surprised that they had found out where they were on time and now, they were here to cause havoc.
