Failure wasn't an option

"You have no right to call my line", Serah seethed.

She had woken up  so early to the loud sounds of her ringing tone blasting through her bedroom. In her haste to pick it up, thinking it was Brian, she had accidentally set a small part of the room on fire what with her magic going haywire.

"How dare you speak to your mother in such manner", she seethed.

"For your information mother, you stopped being my mother the minute you told me you didn't care about me so I see no reasons why you have to call me", Serah said.

She worked a spell that cleared the room immediately of all smoke and debris even as she felt the choking sensation associated with fire accidents. This was all her mot
