Chapter 24

It's 7:14 PM in the evening and we're ready for the mission. Rex took me to his weapon room filled with different types of weapons just like Aiden has. He takes off a gun and throws it at me.

"Hope you can handle this?"

"Yes," I nod. "Have you forgotten my position in my pack? As a gamma, I attend the Defence Academy where we are trained to handle all types of weapons."

"Then why were you afraid of partaking in this operation?"

"Because I've never been involved in a gangster life, I'm always at war….."

"What's the difference between a warrior and a gangster?" He interjects, cutting my words short. I smile, not knowing the reply to give to him. Obviously, there's no major standout difference, both have similar purposes except that they occur in different dimensions. A mafia fights for supremacy, revenge while a warrior as I am fight for the same but kind of for a collective aim which is for the benefit of the pack. It's more selfless than mafia fights.
