(Olivia's POV)

I had woken up from my afternoon nap when the hospital room door swung open.

"Who is there?" I sat up on the bed, feeling a bit better after waking up from my sleep. My headache had also lessened. However, my eyes widened in shock when Mark returned to the room. His yellow eyes met my blue eyes, locking with them, and I became so nervous and lowered my head.

"Hi, how are you doing?" Mark asked, his voice soft as he walked up to the hospital bed to meet me.

Before I could respond, the hospital room door burst open again, and Dr. Sam entered and peered at us.

"What do you want, Doctor?" Mark asked, before I could. His voice laced with irritation as he peered at Dr. Sam's face coldly.

"I should be the one asking you, Mark. You came here uninvited, and I need to keep watch to ensure that you are not doing anything to harm my patient," Dr. Sam replied, ruthlessly, and my eyes widened in shock.

"What? How can I hurt Olivia? She is my sister, and it's my duty to protect her!" Mark said protectively, and my eyes widened in shock to see him possessive of me.

Dr. Sam scoffed, "Mark, you and Olivia are not siblings. So don't act like you care!"

"Mmm." Mark gritted his teeth, wanting to retaliate, and I quickly chimed in, "Brother Mark, please, just calm down."

Mark's gaze shifted to meet mine. His expression was cold, clearly not liking how Dr. Sam was interrupting him.

"Dr. Sam, is there anything the matter?" I asked, shifting my gaze to Dr. Sam, as I couldn't remember asking for him.

"Nothing, Olivia. I just want to be sure that you are in good condition," Dr. Sam replied, his voice soft, while I smiled at him.

"I am fine, Doctor," I replied with a nervous voice as Mark walked up to the bed to meet me. He set down the package of meal that he brought, clearly ignoring Dr. Sam, as he said, "I brought your dinner. Have you eaten?"

My cheek flushed hearing Mark's inquiry. I did not know why I was so nervous around him. I didn't use to act like this before. So I shook my head and replied, "I haven't."

"Good. We have our dinner together then," Mark said, his voice soft as his hand set up the meal.

Dr. Sam looked at us and saw that Mark was not going to leave soon. He looked at me and said, "Olivia, if you need anything, do not forget to ring the nurse bell closer to your bed."

"Okay, Doctor," I replied, lowering my head.

As Dr. Sam walked toward the exit door and pulled it open, he glanced back at Mark, who was busy opening the food that he brought. He said, "Mark, do not forget that the hospital has surveillance cameras."

"I am aware, Sam. Do not waste your time with such pointless reminders," Mark replied, his tone relaxed as he set up the meal before me.

When Dr. Sam left, Mark stood beside my bed and looked at my face. I could feel his gaze crawling over my skin, and it made me uncomfortable. He was supposed to be my brother. So why was he looking at me with desire, like he was a hungry wolf wanting to devour me?

"I wouldn't hurt you if that's why you are acting nervous around me," Mark said, his masculine scent filling my nostrils, and I nodded.

The rain thrashed over the window, and Mark went to close it as we were left alone in this hospital room. His pinewood scent filled my nostrils as he returned to stand next to my bed.

"I bought your dinner, but I don't know if you will like it," Mark said softly as he pulled the package of food for me. His hand reached for the ice cream pack, and my eyes widened in shock.

*Why was Mark buying ice cream for me?* My heart raced, but I didn't want to dwell on it.

"Thank you," I said once Mark pulled the ice cream cover for me. The delicious vanilla scent filled my nostrils, and my tongue and throat salivated.

"Do you want me to feed you?" Mark asked, his voice soft as his hand reached for the spoon to take it out of my ice cream plate to feed me.

"No… why should you do that?" I asked him, my cheeks flushed at his closeness.

Mark looked at my face in a way that sent shivers crashing down my spine like a tidal wave as he demanded with a gentle voice, "Why shouldn't I feed you? I do not want you to be scared of me or angry with me because of what my mother did to put you in this condition."

My eyes welled up in tears, but I didn't want to spoil the ambiance in the room.

"It's fine. I hold no grudge against your mother," I replied as my hand reached for the spoon. I scooped a spoonful of ice cream and licked it.

I looked at Mark's face, seeing him gulped, his yellow eyes glowed with desire, and I immediately looked away from his handsome face.

I knew that Mark had so many girlfriends, so I swiftly waved any form of unthinkable idea about him away from my head. He was only doing this to make me forgive his family and not move over to Dr. Sam's house, I reasoned.

"Do you like the ice cream? I didn't know if it was your favorite. But I assumed that vanilla ice cream is most women's favorite," Mark said, his voice soft, but my smile and admiration for him faded.

"Yeah, you have so many girlfriends. How can you not know?" I retorted, and Mark grinned as he moved near my bed.

"Do I smell jealousy? Who told you that I have many girlfriends?" He asked, his eyes watching me with interest, and it made my skin crawl again, as I wasn't used to Mark caring for me.

"But you have many girlfriends," I replied, looking at his face in a challenging stance.

"No," Mark drew near my face, and he used his right thumb to wipe the ice cream off my lips and licked it.

"Huh..." My eyes widened in shock at his actions, as it felt like Mark already kissed my lips by touching them and licking his hand.

"I…" I couldn't say the word or meet his face.

*What has come over Mark?* I pondered, and before he could say another word—as I wanted him to leave me alone because I wasn't used to this part of him—I didn't know what had gotten into him. Did Mark wake up from the wrong side of his bed today?

The other time, I had wondered why he defended me. And now he is acting like I am his girlfriend. *Wait, does Mark have feelings for me?*

As I wanted to send him away so that I could eat my food in peace and think about my life, his phone rang with an incoming call from his father.

"Excuse me, Olivia, I will join you soon," Mark said as he moved away from me to answer his call.

I breathed heavily as his masculine scent of pinewood faded away from my nostrils.

Quickly, I grasped the ice cream spoon and ate it faster before Mark would finish his call, as he answered the call in the room. He stood a few distance away from my bed.

(Mark's POV)As I was driving home after leaving Alpha Johnson's house, Bryan mindlinked me."Mark, I heard you already apologized to my sister. Good thing that you did what was right. You can join the game," Bryan said through the mindlink, and my brows furrowed. My phone chimed from the place where I kept it charging, and the automated response notified me.My bank account had been activated."Mark!" Alpha Bryan growled in my head. "Ain't you going to say anything? I said that you can get back in the game. We have a match the day after tomorrow, so you can join the training.""I don't feel like joining. You already kicked me out, so get another person to join the game," I replied calmly."Mark, I am your alpha, and you have no right to go against me. (Summer's POV)“So you didn’t miss me?” Christopher asked as I sat next to him in the large classroom.“I do,” I mumbled, my cheeks flushed.“Great. So what did you keep for me?” Christopher inquired. Before I could reply, our professor stepped in and resumed the lecture for the day.As the day rolled by, it was time for lunch. When I rose to leave my seat, I remembered and pulled out the invitation slip that I had personally saved for Christopher.“Chris, I know that we’re just getting to know each other, but here is an invitation to my banquet,” I said, holding out the slip toward him.Christopher was still sitting, writing some notes he had missed on the day he hadn’t shown up to class.“Oh, Summer. That’s thoughtful of you. My dad spoke to me about the banquet yesterday and how much it meant to your parents. They’ve missed you so much,” Christopher said, looking up at my face. I blushed.“Though my dad already brought two invitations for me and my brother, Enzo, I can’t refuse you

BRYAN:"Bryan, what the hell is Ava talking about?" Mom asked as I walked into the exquisite dining room to greet her."Good morning, Mom," I said with a sigh, trying to evade her question.Mom looked at me furiously. "Morning, but you haven’t answered my question.""Mom, I know you’ll be angry if you find out. That’s why I don’t want to mention it to you," I said, frustrated, as I sat down in the chair across from her.Mom leaned back in her dining chair, looked at my face, and asked, "Who is she?""Mom, let’s not talk about her," I said, glancing over at the maids and signaling one of them to serve me breakfast."Bryan, as your mother and your Luna, I demand to know who she is. How can you be so shameless as to lust after someone’s girlfriend?" Mom pointed out, her tone laced with anger. I lowered my head and avoided her gaze.I knew I deserved all the insults, but it wasn’t my fault. My wolf and I wanted Summer."Bryan, are you listening to me at all?" Mom growled. I raised my head

AVA:Mark peered at me in shock; even Mom was stunned by my attitude and shrieking.“Ava, what has gotten into you? Are you trying to make fun of Mark? There is no smell. What are you talking about?” Mom asked aloud as she glared at me.“Mom, Mark reeks of Summer’s smell,” I pointed out, anger flooding through my veins as Mark sniffed his own shirt to identify the irritating smell I was talking about. However, when he heard me mention Summer’s name, his expression softened as he smiled handsomely, making my heart race, and he admitted, “Summer was with me this morning. She came to visit last night and the rainfall was too much, so I advised her to stay back. That’s why I am bathed in her smell—I didn’t want to bathe or wash it off.”Mom’s jaw dropped, including mine. I could not imagine how insane Mark was to carry a woman’s scent on him. Also, to skip bathing so that he didn’t wash off Summer’s smell.Mom looked at Mark differently as she smiled and asked him, “Do you love Summer tha

AVA:When I woke up in my room, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and gasped, “Ah!” My belly tightened, making me perspire. In the meantime, I had been sensitive to some smells, some foods, and I knew that these were all the symptoms of the little pup.Damn it. Why can’t I have a quiet abortion? I murmured; all the abortion medicine had been banned and there was no way I could get rid of the baby.Every child’s life matters to my dad—unless the mother’s health was in danger, then he could approve the termination of the pregnancy. My fist clenched as I wanted to punch the little pup away from my belly, but that would be too extreme.Sighing, I moved to the bathroom to soak myself in a large bathtub of warm water. The weather was cool, and I didn’t want to go to the university. Because I had spent so much time sleeping the previous day in the classroom, the majority of the students were beginning to look at me differently.I had to lay low and keep to myself for now, before the news o

He lay shirtless on the bed, and my hand rested around his waist as I snuggled beside him.Smiling, I shifted on the bed and stared at his attractive features for a while. His chest rose and fell heavily.Checking the wall clock, I saw that it was after 6 a.m. So I carefully got out of bed to avoid waking Mark. Then I made my way into the bathroom to bathe.I couldn’t believe that I was back here and that I had spent a night with Mark. Well, knowing that I had to focus on my studies, I quickly stripped off the dress and got into the shower. After bathing, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my chest. When I walked back into the room, Mark was not there—the bed was empty—but he had arranged it to look neat.I moved into the closet to find a dress to wear. My mind bugged me to purchase some new dresses and bring them over to Mark’s place, as it was mostly my old clothes that were stuck in
