LOGINMIA'S POV:
“Why am I not happy that Leon said he’ll only treat me as his sister from now on? Why do I feel sad in my heart?” I asked myself after my mother went upstairs. I sat on the black couch alone in the living room, waiting for my mother to return. The living room was painted white and featured a flat‑screen television, a built‑in aquarium, a beautiful home theater, flower vases, and colorful lights to beautify the space. “It’s because they are our mates—your future husbands—and you need to calm down, Mia, and follow your heart. If you reject them, you will be unhappy,” the soft, feminine voice whispered back to me, and I tensed. “Who are you again?” I demanded, trying not to frighten the voice that had spoken to me before. I didn’t know if the voice was human or a spirit. “I am Molly. Your wolf.” “My wolf? Where are you?” I asked, looking around the living room, but I didn’t see any wolf. So, where was she? I still had doubts that I was a werewolf. My body trembled with the realization that I was truly a werewolf, and my mother was right about me having the ability to shift into a wolf and a human. “I’m in you,” Molly replied calmly as she purred in my head. “Do you want to shift to me? We can run around the woods with the others. Those triplets are ours and will be our mates once you turn eighteen,” she said in a sweet voice, making me speechless. My heart fluttered, and heat rose up my neck. “Mia,” my mother’s voice snapped me back to reality as she returned to the living room with the photo album. She gently descended the stairs and approached me on the couch, holding the photo album in her hand. Mom was still dressed in her white nightdress that exposed her thighs, but she had put on her white, long‑sleeved jacket and tied it at the front. As she plopped down beside me on the couch, she said, “Mia, here’s the album I want to show you. It’s my family album. When I turned sixteen and met my wolf, Kalani, I was so excited that I could shift like the rest of our pack members. And this is your father when I turned eighteen and met him. Your father and I were studying at White Hills Academy about twenty years ago. Your father was very busy with his research work even as a young man, but I loved him and thought he would stay with me and we would build a big family together. However, I am a white wolf, and he’s brown. So I’m thinking that you will have a white wolf too, given that you resemble me. Here, have a look.” Mom handed the photo album to me as she showed me herself, her older brother, Blake, his wife, Lana, and their two pups, Veronica and Godwin, who were young children back then. “So, Mom, Veronica is a werewolf and my cousin too?” I asked my mother with a look of shock on my face when she showed me a picture of my cousins, Veronica and Godwin Jackson. “Yes. Veronica is a werewolf too; she is seventeen years old like you and studying at the pack’s academy as an accountant. Hopefully, she will turn eighteen this year and find her mate, too,” Mom replied happily, and I scowled. “Well, Mom, Veronica and I aren’t close. She doesn’t like me, and I didn’t know she was my cousin,” I said through clenched teeth, knowing that Veronica was one of the female students at the academy who wanted the Triple L to notice her. Veronica loves to go on errands for triplet and talk about them all day. Most of the students think Veronica is the Triple L’s girlfriend. “Mom, Veronica always acts superior, like she is better than me. She doesn’t like me, and I am surprised that she is my cousin,” I said, my tone filled with surprise after closing the album. Mom frowned and asked me, “Do you want me to call Veronica tomorrow and speak with her to get along with you at the academy?” “No need, Mom. I have a good friend, Vivian Adams. But I’m afraid she is a werewolf too. She never told me anything about being a werewolf,” I said, disappointed by Vivian keeping this secret from me. “I assume she doesn’t want to scare you,” Mom replied softly, and I nodded calmly. “Maybe.” “Thank you, Mom, for telling me about myself. But I still have a hard time believing that I am truly a werewolf,” I said, just as my mother rose from the couch beside me and held the photo album in her hand. “It’s fine, Mia. Once my parents return, we can have a family gathering. They traveled to China for their vacation, and I don’t know when they’ll be back. We will have a big family reunion party, and maybe I will introduce you to all of them. I will call my mother and tell her about the wedding with Alpha David. I’m sure they wouldn’t miss it,” Mom said, speaking about her parents, and I smiled. “Alright, Mom. It’s late. Let me go to my room and sleep. Good night,” I replied, and I followed my mother to the top floor. She went into her room to join Alpha David, and I heard his deep voice speaking to someone on the phone in her room. Sighing, I walked into my room, which was adjacent to my mother’s room. I shut the door and went to look at my reflection in the mirror. “Molly,” I called the name of my wolf as I gazed at myself in the wide mirror. “Yeah. I’m here. Do you want to shift to me?” Molly asked me calmly. “No,” I replied softly, seeing my blue eyes glow in the mirror. “Did I just do that?” I gasped, and Molly purred, “Yeah.” “What else can I do—like magic?” I asked Molly, my voice curious. “You can shift, talk to someone through mind link, and heal faster,” she said, and I found that fascinating. “Alright. Later, you can give me an update. Now I need to sleep and hope that I’m not dreaming. Tomorrow is Saturday, and I won’t be going to the academy,” I said, relieved, as I went to my bathroom to relieve myself. Since I got back from school, I hadn’t even had my evening bath. “How about the Triple L? Are you going to reject them?” Molly asked me fearfully. “I don’t know how to deal with them. How can I have three boyfriends? And also, my mother is going to marry their father. I’m sure Mom won’t approve of them,” I said, and Molly groaned. “Then don’t support your mother’s wedding,” she said. “Well, I want my mother to be happy, and the only thing that can stop her wedding is if my father returns. If my father doesn’t return, then there’s no way for me to stop the wedding or get along with the triplets. They are bullies, too,” I reminded Molly, and she groaned again. “Can’t you call your dad to return? Tell him that your mother is going to marry Alpha David. You’ll see your dad return immediately,” Molly said, but I knew that was impossible.Liam's POV:I felt so excited that I was the one taking Mia through her wolf training exercises. This would give me an edge over my brother in getting close to her, as I couldn't stop dreaming about her last night after I'd hugged her.Her vanilla scent had filled my nostrils and made my wolf purr with excitement. We couldn't stop thinking about marking her first."Can you start the car and stop staring at me like a creep?" Mia yelled, clearly annoyed as she caught my eyes on her."You look so beautiful this morning," I complimented her, and she groaned."I know. Can you please focus on your driving? I don't know if you're as good at driving as your brother," she said, subtly hyping Leon, and I smiled."Did you tell Leon he's a good driver? I'm sure he'd dump his work at the Oscar Group and dismiss Mr. Andrew immediately as your driver," I said with a smirk, and Mia's face reddened."Argh! If you keep talking, I'm going to get out of your car," she pointed out, clearly annoyed, and I
Mia's POV:"Hello, Vivian," I said, and her voice came through."Mia, thank goodness you're finally awake. I rushed to call the Triple L because I didn't know what to do. I couldn't even think of calling my brother at that moment. Are you alright? The Triple L dismissed me and said you were fine after checking your pulse and heartbeat," Vivian said, and my face reddened."They checked my heartbeat? With what? What did they use to check it? Do they have a stethoscope? I hope it's not what I'm thinking. Did they place their hand over my chest or rest their head on my chest? Which of them checked for my heartbeat and pulse?" I asked Vivian loudly, and she laughed."Mia, I don't know. You know they all look alike. But they didn't harass you. They just checked your chest calmly by placing a palm over it," Vivian said, and I knew she wasn't familiar with the Triple L. Most of the pack members mistook them. They called Luis "Alpha Leon," and they also mistook his brother Liam."Fine. I'm alr
Mia's POV:"Wait, Mia!" I heard Alpha Leon's deep voice call me as I was leaving the Oscar Hotel to find a cab to take me home. I didn't want to reach out to Leon or his brothers to take me home. I had blocked them from prying into my mind. They were damn hot and sexy as men, and they were insanely seducing me.Molly was not helpful at the moment. She wanted them. All three of them."Mia, wait, let me take you home. My car is over there," Alpha Leon said, pointing at his car just as he rushed up to meet me. Standing next to him made me uncomfortable, but I knew that my mother was going to worry about me. She even mind-linked me: "Mia, where are you? Hasn't the party come to an end?"I was relieved that the Triple L hadn't informed my mother that I had fainted again."Mia," Mom mind-linked me once more, and I informed her, "I'm almost done, Mom. I'm leaving the hotel now. Alpha Leon is bringing me home.""Alright," she said before disconnecting the mind-link.Standing aside, I watched
LEON'S POV:"Mia, are you sure you want us to leave the room? To leave you alone? You need us," Luis said, after Liam had given Mia a warm hug. Luis wanted to hug Mia too. We all wanted to hug her to comfort her, assuring her that we would not betray the bond, but after she heard Luis's inquiry, Mia's gaze darkened and she acted brave."Of course. I am fine. I just have a stubborn wolf who is making me feel weak," she said, and I knew it was because her wolf did not want her to reject us. Her wolf was trying to educate her on how weak and hopeless she would feel if she went on with what she had in mind to do to us."Why don't you agree with your wolf? We will not hurt you, if that's what you're afraid of," Luis said, trying to make Mia accept us. But she firmly shook her head."I do not want any of you around me. Just keep your distance. We are family, and I am your stepsister. Any form of admiration that you all have for me should be platonic and a familial bond. Nothing beyond tha
Mia's POV:Veronica was oozing with rage as I stepped out of the pool and stood next to her.As Godwin stepped forward, he cleared his throat and said, "Are you girls ready? On your knees, get set, go!" He ordered, and we jumped into the pool.Like a fish, I swam fast, heading for the next side of the pool, as we had to swim to and fro.Veronica was swimming after a lady who was next to me, and like she noticed that I was taking the lead, she pushed the lady next to me, but I already anticipated her attack, as I knew that Veronica didn't like me. I dodged the lady by going under the water, swimming faster, and I reached the other side first before I swam back and headed for the start position, which was the finish line."Go, Veronica!""Go, Mia!" The group of pack members and Veronica's friends watching squealed as we swam ahead to the finish line.Knowing that it was Veronica's birthday night, I wasn't supposed to swim past her and finish the race, but knowing that Veronica would use
Leon's POV:I hadn't expected to see Mia step out in that pink swimsuit. She was so hot that I could barely control my wolf. I had to get away from Veronica as fast as possible before she noticed my discomfort was linked to the fact that Mia was my mate."Alpha Leon!" Veronica called after me, but I swiftly walked away. My dîck was rock hard because of Mia's sexy body. Her round bréasts were so big and captivating that I had to think of something else to distract my brain, so I wouldn't rush over to her like a feral wolf, pin her to the ground, mount her, and take her to ecstasy."Damn it, Leon. Mia is so hot. What are they up to?" Luis asked, his eyes glinting with interest as he moved closer to the pool to get a better look at her body. But Liam was battling the same arousal as I was."How is she this hot? Why do those guys get the privilege of watching our mate's swimsuit when we can't?" Liam cursed, his frustration evident. The more he looked at Mia, the more he felt the primal ur
