Chapter 7

Mia's POV:

"My dad isn't coming back. He won't. It’s not like my mother and Alpha David aren't getting intimate. If Dad cared, he would have been back by now. I’ll just reject the triplets. That’s all I can do, so I can concentrate on my studies," I said. Molly shut me out. I couldn’t speak to her again. I sighed and took a bath.

Once I got out of the bathroom, I put on a white nightdress, sat on my bed, and checked my phone. I saw a message from Vivian Adams.

"Hey, Mia. What’s up? Do you have plans for the weekend? We can go shopping. I want to introduce you to someone," Vivian texted. I smiled as I read her message.

"Who is it?" I asked, wondering if I should ask her about werewolves and why she hadn’t told me about herself.

"Don’t worry. You’ll see him tomorrow," she replied. I was curious.

"Him? Who is he?" I asked, thinking about all the boys at the academy. I didn’t interact with the guys, and they respected me, maybe because my mother was the chairwoman.

"Tomorrow, Mia. Chill," Vivian replied. I rolled my eyes. "Fine. See you tomorrow," I said, ending our chat.

Smiling, I put my phone on the shelf and lay down to sleep.

I thought about the Triple L. This was the first time I was thinking about guys, and it wasn’t just one, but three. How could a girl have three boyfriends at once? I thought about it, smiling, as I drifted off to sleep.

In my dream, I saw Leon in the shower, his toned abs arousing me. I was shocked by how huge his body was. Not only that, but Luis and Liam were also naked and bathing me. They washed my hands and legs, and their hands reached up to touch my boobs and the cunt between my legs as if I were a baby.

"Oh no!" I awoke, sweating profusely. I peered out the window and saw that it wasn't morning yet. The sky was still dark; it was only 3 a.m.

Touching my body, I felt hot and aroused. I swiftly got out of bed and moved to the window to look outside. Shocked, I caught sight of a massive wolf—not just one, but three black wolves with thick fur.

"No way!" I shut the window and rushed back to my bed, my heart throbbing in my chest.

The three wolves were black, and they looked at me with intense yellow eyes.

"Calm down, Mia. They are ours and won't hurt you," Molly said with an air of confidence. I was stunned.

"What? You mean those three black wolves are the Triple L? No wonder I've seen them before. What could they be doing outside at this time of night?" I demanded from Molly, scared to look out the window again. The distant sounds of wolves howling filled the air.

"They’re patrolling the pack and supervising it in case of any intruders or rogues. It’s customary for them to protect the pack and ensure its safety," my wolf replied, making me sigh with relief. I didn't know that was their job at night.

"So that means they don’t sleep at night?" I asked inquisitively, feeling sorry for them.

"They do. I’m sure they only came here because of you. They felt your troubled heart and know that you’re worried," Molly explained gently. I exhaled.

"What? You mean the Triple L knows that I’m worried? How is that possible?" I asked aloud, sitting up on my bed. I moved to the window and looked out, but they were gone.

"They can read your mind, hear your inner thoughts, and feel your worries. You’ll understand better when you turn eighteen," she said. I sighed and went back to my bed.

"There’s no way I can understand any of this. I hope to wake up tomorrow and not remember any of it—to return to my peaceful life, not a life where I have three hot boyfriends," I said. Molly chuckled before going silent. She didn't want that. She wanted them, their attention, their love, and to sleep with them.

Clenching my thighs, I tossed and turned on the bed. After a few minutes of trying to find a comfortable position, I fell asleep.

The next morning, I awoke with a slight headache. I glanced at the wall clock and saw it was after 9 a.m.

"Oh no! I overslept!" I gasped and quickly got out of bed. I knew I wasn't going to the academy today or tomorrow, but I had promised to go out with Vivian.

Hastily, I went into my bathroom to brush my teeth. The loud sound of a car starting in the garage caught my attention. My peripheral vision caught my mother hugging Alpha David and kissing him passionately on the lips in the driveway.

Mom stepped aside, dressed in her white nightgown. Shockingly, as I craned my ear, I marveled that I could hear them from the top floor, even though I was in the bathroom.

"Take care, babe," Mom said to Alpha David softly as she stood aside and waved goodbye.

Alpha David grinned, hopped into his black Benz, waved goodbye to my mother, and drove off.

Sighing, I finished brushing my teeth, took a bath, and got out of the bathroom. As I walked into my bedroom to find a stunning dress in my closet, my mother knocked on my door. I opened it for her. She was covered with red marks on her neck, and I rolled my eyes at the sight.

"Mom, good morning," I grumbled, moving back into the room to find my dress.

"Morning, Mia. How was your night?" she asked, walking into my room and pulling the curtains aside. She unlocked the window I had closed last night after seeing the wolves.

"It was fine, Mom," I replied with a grumble.

"What’s wrong, Mia?" she asked.

"Nothing, Mom." I stood by my closet, wanting to go in and find a dress. Mom came over to me. "You don’t have to lie to me. What’s wrong?"

"Nothing. I’m still overwhelmed by the fact that I'm a werewolf. How is that possible?" I asked, my arms crossed over my chest, watching her face. She smiled.

"It’s hereditary. You are a werewolf by birth, and that’s all you need to know," Mom said, stepping into my closet to help me find a dress.

"Mom, is it possible for a werewolf to have more than one mate?" I asked curiously as I picked a yellow dress and glanced at her.

"Yes, it’s possible. Why are you asking? Are you interested in having more than one mate? Wait a minute, I hope you’re not interested in dating the Triple L. They are going to be your stepbrothers now, so you shouldn't be fascinated by them!" Mom said, a hint of warning in her voice. I sighed.

"It’s not them," I lied, feeling the bitterness on my tongue as my heart ached. I lowered my head, avoiding my mother's face. She came over to me.

"Mia, you can have more than one mate, but in most cases, we have only one. I know of a woman who has two mates, and some do marry two or three men at a time. They call them their mates, and they understand each other and don’t get jealous. They love the woman, treat her equally, and mate with her. It’s a reverse harem thing. But why are you asking me about that? If it’s not about the Triple L, then who is it about?" Mom asked, her curious eyes peering into my blue orbs to know the truth. I sighed.

"I’m just asking because I was researching werewolves last night, and I found out that it’s possible for a wolf to have more than one husband and several pups," I said, looking up at my mother’s face, as she was taller than me.

"It’s true, but it's rare. In our pack, we have many women, so we don't have a shortage. Why would one person want to have multiple mates? Anyway, that won't be your portion. I’m certain you will have only one mate. Just be positive about it and don’t think about the possibility of having three. Alright?" Mom advised with a grin. I sighed.
