Chapter 007

MIA'S POV:

"My Dad isn't going to come back. He wouldn't, and it's not like my mother and Alpha David aren't having sex or kissing. If Dad was bothered about all this, he should have been back, but he didn't. I'll just reject the triplets. That's all I can do now, so that I can concentrate on my studies," I replied, and Molly shut me out.

I couldn't speak to her again, and I sighed, having my bath in my bathroom.

Once I got out of the bathroom, I picked up a white night dress and donned it.

I then moved over to my bed to sit down and use my phone.

I saw a beep notification and I read it.

It was a message from Vivian Adams.

"Hey, Mia. What's up? Do you have plans for the weekend? We can go shopping, and I want to introduce you to someone," Vivian texted me, and I smiled, reading her chat.

"Who is it?" I asked her, thinking if I should ask Vivian about werewolves and how come she didn't tell me about herself.

"Don't worry. You'll get to see him tomorrow," Vivian replied, and I felt curious.

"Him? Who is he?" I asked Vivian, thinking about all the boys at the Academy. I didn't interact with the guys, and they respected me. Maybe because my mother is the chairwoman of the Academy.

"Tomorrow, Mia. Chill," Vivian replied, and I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. See you tomorrow then," I said, before our chat ended.

Smiling, I kept my phone on the shelf and lay on the bed to sleep.

I thought about Triple L. This was the first time that I was thinking about a guy, and it wasn't just one guy, but three guys. 'How can a girl have three boyfriends at a time?' I thought about it, smiling as I succumbed to sleep.

In my dream, I saw Leon having his bath, and I was shocked by how huge his body was. Not just that, Luis and Liam were bathing me, washing my hands and bathing my legs.

"Oh no!" I awoke, sweating profusely. I peered out the window and saw that it wasn't yet morning. The sky was still dark, and the clock showed 3 a.m.

I touched my body, feeling hot, and I got out of the bed and moved over to the window and peered outside.

Shockingly, I caught sight of a wolf—not just one, but three massive wolves.

"No way!" I shut my window and rushed back to my bed to sleep, my heart throbbing faster.

The three wolves were black, and they looked at me with their intense yellow eyes.

"Calm down, Mia. They are ours and cannot hurt you," Molly said with a soft voice, and I felt shocked.

"What? You mean those wolves are Triple L? What could they be doing outside by this time of the night?"

"Patrolling the pack and supervising it in case of any intruders or rogues. It's customary for them to protect the pack and ensure safety too," Molly replied.

"So that means the Triple L don't sleep at night?" I asked inquisitively.

"They do. I'm sure they only came here because of you, and they felt your troubled heart and knew you were worried," Molly explained.

"What? You mean Triple L knows that I'm worried? How is that even possible?" I asked aloud, sitting up on my bed. I moved over to the window and peered out, but they were no longer there.

"They can read your mind, hear your inner thoughts, and feel all your worries. You'll understand better when you turn eighteen," Molly said, and I sighed and went back to my bed.

"There's no way that I can understand any of this. I hope to wake up tomorrow and not remember any of this—to return to my peaceful life, not a life of me having three hot boyfriends," I replied, and Molly fell silent, as she didn't want that. She wanted them.

I went to lie on the bed. A few minutes later, after turning around on the bed and trying to find a better sleeping position, I fell asleep.

The next morning, I awoke and felt a slight headache. As I glanced at the wall clock, I saw it was 9 a.m.

"Oh no! I overslept!" I gasped and quickly got out of bed. I knew that I wasn't going to the Academy for today and the next, but I had promised to go out for shopping with Vivian for today.

I hastily went into my bathroom to brush my teeth. The sound of a car starting in the garage caught my attention, and I gazed out of the window, and I saw my mother hugging Alpha David and kissing him passionately at the garage.

Mom stepped aside, and shockingly, as I craned my ear further, I felt shocked that I could hear them, despite the fact that I was on the top floor.

"Take care, babe," Mom said to Alpha David, as she stood aside and waved goodbye to him.

Alpha David hopped into his black Benz and waved goodbye to my mother.

Sighing, I finished brushing my teeth, had my bath, and got out of my bathroom. As I walked into my bedroom to find a dress in my closet, the sound of my mother knocking on my door caught my attention.

I moved over to the door and pulled it open for her.

Mom was covered with red marks over her neck, and I rolled my eyes at the sight of it.

"Good morning, Mom," I grumbled, moving back to the closet to find my dress.

"Morning, Mia. How was your night?" Mom asked, as she moved over to my window and pulled the curtains aside. She unlocked the window panes that I had closed last night.

"Fine," I replied with a grumble, and Mom asked, "What's wrong, Mia?"

"Nothing, Mom." I stood by my closet as I wanted to enter and find a dress.

Mom came over to the closet and met me, she asked, "You don't have to lie to me. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Mom. I'm still overwhelmed by the fact that I'm truly a werewolf. How is that even possible?" I asked her once more, and she smiled.

"It's hereditary. You are a werewolf, and that's all that you need to know," Mom replied, stepping into my closet to find me.

"Mom, is it possible that a werewolf can have more than one mate?" I asked her curiously as I picked a yellow dress and glanced at her face.

"Yes. It's possible. Why are you asking? Are you interested in having more than one mate? Wait a minute, I hope you're not interested in dating Triple L? They are your stepbrothers!" Mom gasped, and I sighed.

"Not them," I lied, lowering my head, and my mother came over to meet me.

"Mia, you can have more than one mate, but in most cases, we do have one mate. But I know of some women who has two mates, and some do date two to three men at a time. They call them their mates, and their mates all understand and don't get jealous. They love the woman, treat her equally, and also mate with her too. It's a reverse harem stuff. But why are you asking me about that? If it's not about Triple L, then it's about who?" Mom's eyes curiously peered at mine, and I sighed.

"I'm just asking, as I was researching about werewolves last night, and I found out that it's possible for a wolf to have more than one husband and several pups," I replied, looking upward at her face as she was taller than me.

"It's true. But on rare occasions. In our pack, we have many women, so we do not lack. Why would one person want to have multiple mates? Anyway, that will not be your portion. I'm certain you will have only one mate. Just be positive about it and don't think of the possibility of having three mates," Mom said with a grin.
