MIYAs POV...
Thanks to the all mighty-mother, the burning sensation in my veins has been greatly reduced. I raise my hands and observe them as they continue to shake, rubbing them as I wrap them around one another.
A pang of concern coats my heart.
The anxiety of not comprehending or knowing what is going to happen to me is the thing that makes me the most uncomfortable. If I'm part oracle, how come my ass couldn't see all of this happening beforehand?
The faint sound of someone knocking on the door to Zion's room compels me to turn around as I use the bed to hold my weakened body upright.
"Miya! Oh my gosh.." Sofia's frantic, relieved voice screams through the room as she runs towards me, flinging herself at me. "I was so worried." She cries against my shoulder.

MIYAs POV... With my limbs wrapped around Zion's body, I rub the side of my face against the crook of his neck, absorbing the heat emanating from his pyrexia skin. Inhaling his mouth-watering scent, I focus on the sound of his twin hearts beating which also happens to match the rhythm of my breathing. It's erratic, yet it has a hypnotic effect on me. ZIONs POV... "STOP!" She bellows with her voice echoing loudly through the cave. I come to a screeching standstill, huffing and puffing as I turn my head to the right and then the left. ZIONs POV...While I take cover under a large tree, I press my back flush against the tree trunk with a vicious snarl escaping past my cold lips.As I walked out of the cave in search of some fire branches, a high tech drone with heat sensory and a wide range of distance sensory was heading in my direction.
