Chapter 98

Kieran's POV

A small groan slid past my lips as I rolled to my side. I half expected a bed to come into view, but it didn't. All I felt was some hard surface digging into the corner of my back. I turned again, hoping it would stop, but all it did was send a sharp pain through my back and spine.

What the hell was going on?

Slowly, I peeled my eyes open, and the first thing I saw wasn't what I expected. My vision was hazy, and no matter how many times I blinked,it did nothing to clear out out. It didn't even help that a dull throb had formed at the back of my head, and it was throbbing real bad. Pain spread through my body, and it felt like my bones were literally on fire.
