Chapter- 10

Chloe's POV

I asked him to come inside because of Jina's constant yelling. I don't want to upset her and besides, I am so touched by his care.

I walked in making sure that the house is perfect. I always have a habit of keeping my surroundings clean so I happily allowed him in.

He looked around the empty house and sat on the dining chair. Since we came here just a month ago, there's no furniture here except the ones they gave to them.

"Do you want coffee or tea?" I ask.

"No, just water is enough," he said.

I went to the fridge and I could feel his gaze on me. I grabbed a sweater to cover up my bare arms and went to the dining table. After gulping the water, he looked at me.

"You still haven't agreed to stay at the packhouse," he asks.

"I am grateful to you and I am glad to stay beside my friend," I say.

"Good, I will prepare a nice room at my place,"

"Your place?"

"Yes,"

"Am I not going to stay alone?"

"No, why do you want to stay alone when I have such a big house," he asked
