Chapter- 41(1)

As it started raining, Zen called Theodore into her house, he had traveled all the way here to meet her sister and her husband. The meeting went fine, everyone likes him and being in a human community is so new to Theodore. He had lunch with them and they all treated him just like how they treat a fellow human. Zen’s mother asked Zen to take him to their home and she would come there soon. On their way, the rain started pouring so he couldn’t have had a chance to talk to her. Sometimes Zen looks so friendly approachable but at other times, he finds it hard to talk to her. He feared she would mistake his boldness as he can see they were very conservative family. Now they have approved Theodore, her mother allowed her to go with a man alone.

Upon entering that small house, Theodore saw how clean and organized it is. The smell of rosemary filled in the living room.

“Please take a seat,” Zen said and went inside the kitchen to prepare some tea.
