Mated To The Big Bad Alphas
Mated To The Big Bad Alphas
Author: Elizabeth A.D

The Prodigal Princess

Sierra’s POV

I was in darkness, it all feels empty and dangerous… and then I saw them.

The whole pack house slaughtered in pool of their blood. My feet wobbled as the scent hit my nose.

Right in front of the dead Alpha, I see my father holding the golden dagger with blood dripping from it.

“Father!” I heard the future twin Alphas scream.

“Dad?” I said and in flashes, I watch his head rolled down from his neck.

The late Alpha’s brother, Morpheus’s sword dripping with my father’s blood.

“You daughter of a traitor, You don’t deserve to live! You are hereby banished!” Uncle Morpheaus spat out with agonizing rage.

He turned to the twin brothers, my best friends and said;

“Aiden, Arnold … live your life to hunt and kill her”

My inside hurts feeling their painful gaze burning through my soul and my heart melting into molten.

“Gasps!”

I woke up… it was all a dream.

A painful memory the moon goddess cursed me with in form of a dream.

I slowly sit up with my legs folded against my chest, gigantic beads of sweat rolling down my temple.

And that’s it, I’ve had enough… I must go back.

MORNING

Staring out from the beautiful window view, my heart rammed against the wall of my chest, my heart not favoring the sense of exploration.

Went from rubbing my mother’s bracelet to fiddling with it nervously the more the plane gets closer to the airport.

I know I made this decision never to come back after Ruby saved me from death 7 years ago but I must clear my parent's name and I need signs to justify this silly move of mine— I mean coming back here over an anonymous message from a helper that claims to know the truth about that night many years ago.

Fuck me if I'm putting my life at risk over the message or if that's how much I missed Arnold and Aiden. My heart hurts anytime I remember their murderous stare on me.

The twins used to love and adore me but it pierced my soul to realize how much they hate me for a crime committed by my father.

The late Alpha’s brother was also a witness, he said my father planned the coup to have the pack all to himself. My father was forever a loyal Beta to the late Alpha Maximus and my mother was the Luna's Best Friend.

I had so much trust in them even though I was just 12 when my fate changed and I still do. To worsen things, I haven't yet met my wolf which makes it more dangerous to return to this city wolfless.

Back to my reality, I realized we'd long alighted from the plane when Mrs.Ruby snapped her fingers to get my attention. It sounds distant at first but the third attempt got my attention.

She didn't bother to ask why I was lost, she could sense I was scared, weak, and foolish. That is how vulnerable a werewolf is to strangers without her wolf.

“You know Morpheus was against you coming back in the first place, you can stay here in the human territory while I prepare your flight back to the states” I hear her voice trailing off in the far distance even though she's so close to me.

Damn this! Am I getting cold feet already?

A muscle in my jaw twitched and my eyes went around scanning every passing human and wish I could enter one of their bags to follow them home and live with them forever.

The sounds around me filtered out entirely leaving my eardrums to void noises and dreads that loom in slow motion.

“It's fine ma'am “ I forced out a smile before she ushers me out to the exit.

Mrs. Ruby is Beta Morpheus's wife and mate but she chose to live far away from the pack ever since that night although I don't know why she chose to leave with me that night.

The moment we arrived outside the airport, she dialed a number on her phone, and a black SUV made its way to our front.

A man whom I can not recognize came out of it and bowed to Mrs.Ruby addressing her the same way everyone does. She prefers not to be referred to by her husband’s name.

The tall man moved our loads within seconds, judging by his agility and body build, he must be one of the pack warriors.

His countenance changed when his stare landed back on mine.

We drove for hours before getting to the entrance of Rendee forest, only the supernatural like us knows what lies ahead of the forest.

Humans barely come to this side of the forest due to what our great grandfathers had traded to conceal our existence.

We proceeded into the forest and soon, a path opened up in which we drove in. I glanced through the back window as the path closed up with a squelching sound. I missed that. I miss everything about who I was.

Perhaps, coming back here could solve everything and why I still haven't met my wolf at the age of 19.

The Alpha Twins should have met theirs by now. Oh shit. I can't stop thinking about them.

I wonder if they will forget everything and welcome me with love but... It's their parents we are talking about here.

I curl up on the seat playing with my mother’s bracelet as the ride went on for hours.

Finally, we arrived at the borderline that leads to the pack. There are two roads at this juncture, one leading to the Blackstone pack and the other leading to the enemy's pack, the Cresent moon pack.

The moment we crossed the line, I can feel the pack energy surge within me. The Mark that I was a member! Oh heavens! I'm so excited right now.

My stomach churns to the beautiful feeling that settles within it.

Mrs.Ruby smiles at me because she felt it too and that's at least one sign that I am also a werewolf with a high possibility of finding my wolf here and even better to find a mate.

The once dreadful feeling at the airport dissipated into the air as a new feeling engulfs me. I remember listening to Mate legends with Arnold and Aiden from the late Luna.

How werewolves finds their mate, the one that loves and cherishes without flaw. She explained the mate bond is the most beautiful thing of our existence and we've always looked for the day together, me, Arnold and Aiden... Well before that night.

The Packhouse's magnificent build came into view and I could not help but marvel at such change in 7 years. Mrs.Ruby showed me some new industries and changes along the way too and I must admit, It's beyond my expectation.

I didn't miss any news updates about the Alpha Twins in the past 7 years. People love and respect them for their huge sense of responsibility.

The driver got the door for Mrs.Ruby first and then me seconds later.

The pack territory is large and I remember driving through the pine and cedar trees that line both sides of the long entrance. The huge mansion is covered with shiny tiles and the touch of Chinese ancient roofing.

My eyes went around scanning for more butterflies to feed my stomach with but they landed on something cold instead.

The twin Alphas! Their stare so sharp and distinctive.
